When there really is no scriptural reason for a rule they will always fall back on the "Someone might get stumbled" excuse. Meanwhile people who are actually stumbled by important things are told that they aren't spiritual enough and they need to "wait on Jehovah". You can't win, ever. -

hmmm.....so they are not bothered about all the publicity around a swag of paedophiles in the congregations but they don't want mum & dad holding hands to stumble the (non existant)newbies.....

Yes God would be angry at people lovingly holding hands in unity when prayers are being said .
It says that in the bible doesn't .
Thankfully the GB members of the Watchtower Corporation never go beyond what is written.

Looking around and seeing nobody touching each other is a visual affirmation of the coldness that is already felt. In many denominations, service is interrupted about halfway through to give everyone an opportunity to greet each other, exchange hugs and return to your seat.
This would be perceived as absolutely awful.
