Why the hell the does anyone want a bag less hoover? I have 2 hoovers, a Miele' cylinder, and a Sebo upright, both are incredible, robust, easy to fix and maintain, and you do not get all messed up emptying them, all the dust is in a bag! They are good if you have animals and clean very well.

I bought a Bissel bagless just before the Dysons were available here. I don't like it. Instead of worrying about one bag I now have 3 filters to clean each time, along with the accompanying mess. I really don't see any advantage in having the bagless machine.

nah dont pay for one doe, just keep an eye on skips or peoples rubbish when youre driving round, people throw them out cos theyre too lazy to change or wash the filters.

good way of getting free spares too.

llbh is right about the Sebo. Those are some nice machines, but can cost upwards of $250 to $400. Very good vacs however.

I find it pathetically humerous and ironic that a bunch of ExDubs are talking about the good and bad points of vacuum cleaners. Thanks alot Watchtower.

dont tell the jws we talk about anything but them, it'll spoil their delusions of us bitter twisted exs .

actually they probably come quite low on the list cos head cheese and hoovers are far more entertaining

Did you have to mention head cheese?

I can't eat that stuff anymore!

I LOVE my iRobot Roomba for the floor. It is an amazing machine! I hardly ever get the old "Sherman Tank" out of the closet anymore.

Am I correct that the Dyson models are the only ones that are truly a different (and patented) vacuum technology? The rest are just, well, bagless; if I'm right about that.

I really like my Oreck. Light and simple and works better than any other regular-tech vacuum I've ever seen. But Orecks are ridiculously expensive too, and while I really love the product, it's clear that you are paying for their marketing system.
