Horrid Perfumes and Nasty Nairspray

Why do people wear these things?

Don't these people know they make everyone else sick?

For those who wear perfume: Please do not spray it directly onto yourself. Spray one pump into the air in front of you and then walk through the mist. Never use more than that!

For those who wear hair spray: Please only use a product marked "unscented" and spray using short bursts. If you are holding the spray nozzle down and waving the can around, you are doing it wrong.

If you think that is not enough, begin to repeatedly slap yourself in the head until you no longer think that.

Good advice. I remember a sister who seldom came to the KH because loving brothers and sisters thought that they had the right to use strong perfumes, colognes, and hair sprays. And this in spite of the elders giving talks about being considerate of others when wearing such scented items.

OMG, there is a girl who is trying to impress me and ever time she's about to come and talk to me she "refreshes" her perfume.

It takes all I've got to not run to the toilet sick.

I always felt bad for the elders having to give those anti-perfume talks, in the face of Sister "It's my identity and my right to use as much perfume as I want!" One time the scripture was read that says, "Love hopes all things..." and then the elder looked up and said, "We HOPE that some of you will get the point" and smiled and winked in the direction of said sister. Good times!

The only people I've ever known to complain about scents come from kingdom halls. Ever wonder why that is so?

I like to mix my perfumes and scent my bath water with them.

After my bath, the fragrance is slight, not overpowering.
