I work with the public and have some customers that come in and stink to high heaven! Either Nasty ass perfume that will gag you or just regular bad body odor. Can people honestly NOT smell themselves? You should see my desk, I have a candle going at all times, Three bottles of Hand sanitizer, Can of Lysol, and Febreeze. I'm just a little OCD.....

lol....
My husband learned that new saying "mean mugging" the other day. He says it all the time now!

I've not heard that one. I assume it means expressing excessive adoration and borderline worship?

If you wear a quality perfume and don't over do it, I see no reason to stop wearing perfume.
I get nothing but compliments every where I go, The mall, grocery store, gas station, etc. Everyone stops me and asks.
I worked in an office where the owner had horrible allergy issues and before I was hired his secretary said, you cannot wear that perfume if you work here.
I was hired and always wore a small amount. Everyone in the office told me, you smell so good! including the owner.
Spellbound by Estee Lauder.
Use it sparingly..nothing but compliments!

Restrangled, you probably have a good "smell" to begin with!
People who are kind, happy, and outgoing always smell "good."
On the other hand, some people don't smell "good" no matter how expensive the perfume!
Baby Girl, my 11-year old g'daughter taught me that expression.

we had a sister that would always complain about cologne and perfume smells all the time. i would sometimes put on my strongest cologne and sit behind her on purpose. it was mean to do but i enjoyed making her upset. she was nasty and rude and i always felt it was my one dig at her. i guess i will not get forever in paradise for that one.

We had one of those. One day at an assembly, I was sitting in the parking lot in the car eating lunch. It was in the 90's, so I had the car idling with the a/c on. This sister and her husband were sitting at least 200 feet away. The husband came over and asked me to shut the car off because the fumes were giving his wife a "headache." I think it's a bunch of bs.

Snowbird...you are too kind!
I am not always happy, etc.
I do know that any "green" colored perfume I cannot stand on myself, and they seem to sour. Overly gold or orange colored does the same thing. I cannot wear anything with rose overtones.
Some fade into oblivion, and some just linger and never move.
I think each person possess chemicals that react with scents. If its wrong.....its wrong and those around you will complain you are over doing it.
Even if you love how something smells, it may not agree with you.
Just my opinion.
