I was Born In Portugal, I choose to became a Canadian citizen,

I love this country greatly, it has given me an education, a career, a wife and two lovely girls.

I may not like the winters, but I can't see myself living anywhere else.

I can go anywhere in the world and when they hear "Canadian", I always get a smile.

I just got back from Cuba and they love Canadians there ( if they ever allowe dit I would love to retire down there for the winter).

    I AM CANADIAN !!!

I became a Canadian citizen and served my adopted country, hope that clears up some of the confusion.

Growing up in California, I had many Canadian friends who moved to LA for one, the weather, and two, the economic possibilities were much better.

Most of them didn't care much for the Canadian politics, just wanting a better life for their families.

    Have things come full circle?

    Kurtbethel,

    What books did you have?

    Inquiring minds want to know.

    PS,

Glad you like it here. It's easy enough for me, I've always lived here, eh!

shamus asked: What books did you have?

I think it was a book called: Planet of the Canadian Apes Eh? It had all sorts of gross stuff in it....like monkeys always asking for kisses in very inappropriate places.

An old friend of mine (an elder) called me last Fall. He and his wife moved down to Southern California and he told me "I ain't comin' back." They love the warm weather and they live less than a mile from the beach. He invited me to come down to visit them next winter. He doesn't know I don't go to the Kingdumb Hell anymore, and I know damn well he'll expect me to go with them while I'm there. I'm debating whether one visit to the KH is worth a free trip to sunny Cali-for-nee-ya.......

Most Canucks simply don't give a shit about politics at all. If I want a good laugh, I turn on the TV to watch the silly bastards fling mud at each other in the House of Commons.

    Mary,

With all due respect you are one twisted ****! How can you watch that crap?

The U.S. politics, I personally find, horrifying. You either get a turd or a douche either way you vote, so why worry?

The only poster I've ever fought with over Canadian politics is Outlaw, and it ended in us throwing beer bottles at each other then getting chased by a cougar out of the woods.

I don't normally ya silly bugger. But sometimes they get so damn worked up it's hilarious to watch. One asshole on there the other day threatened to beat the shit out of the other guy and gave him the finger. LMAO!!

Exactly. Canucks know that it doesn't matter who gets in office, they're going to f*ck everything up, so why stress yourself over it? Americans actually believe that their passion for politics actually makes any difference.

Now Shamus, don't you have anything to say about my Planet of the Canadian Apes and kissing monkeys??? tsk, tsk.

I know you worked hard on it, so here it goes.... (sorry for forgetting)

    Thinking... thinking...

I think those apes are beautiful. They're a different race, though, and monkeys don't interracially marry. It's kind of a taboo subject, and I understand if they denied him entry.

What's everyone going to do when I change my avatar back to the old one? These jokes are just going to be awful and won't make sense.
