I have had my hair washed in beer. It was a horrible drinking accident.
Argh D, that reminds me of a show I went to recently. Small club, some chick was having a fine time, and thrusting her cup of beer in the air in glee. Yea, splashing it all over my head and down my chest. Ride home sucked!
I have "no-poo"ed before...it makes your hair so nice! Beware, though, that in the first couple of weeks your hair will go through a "detox" where you might freak out and think that it's making your hair awful...just work through it, and things WILL change. Best of luck! I'm probably going to start up again when my bottle of shampoo runs out.

I can't imagine going poo-less, until I read this I had no idea it was a bad idea?? Really now you have me scared.
I wash my hair 3 times a week in Tresemme shampoo and then Neutregena conditioner. Then I use Mousse, then I use Hairspray.
Might that be why I have chronic autoimmune diseases??
As far as the other Poo. I am a colonic therapist, so if I can't do the other Poo I do a colonic heehee. Must keep your colon clean and free of toxins. Now I have to keep my long hair free of toxins but how to keep it clean with NO shampoo?

deceived, I don't know of any claims shampoo causes any disease. I am doing it mainly for environmental reasons, with health being a close second.
I have long hair too. The regime I explained in my last post is working for me. People say there is an adjustment period but even so the baking soda/vinegar rinses are working fine.
