Why I'm going to burn in Hell for eternity.

    You MUST love me.

And if you don't, I'll kill you.

(Or, as Perry often emphasises, eternal non-existence isn't enough to balance the scales of God's justice, so I'll roast for eternity.)

As soon as you ORDER an intelligent being to love you, your "loveability" plummets.

    So there's the conundrum.

I can't love the God of the Bible because, to me, he's unlovable.

    On a lighter note:

If in heaven we don't meet,

Together we will bear the heat.

And if it ever gets too hot,

    Pepsi-Cola hits the spot!

Imo, the only person who deserves an everlasting roast is the Evil One.

How can the havoc he has wreaked possibly be undone?

Bad day today, but this made me chuckle.

I don't recall having ever said that Open Mind. Do you have of quote of mind to remind me?

    No Perry I don't.

Sorry if I got the wrong impression about your beliefs.

But since you're here, what DO you believe is the destiny of those who don't love the God of the Bible with their whole heart, soul, mind and strength?

My impression is that Perry believes that, but he just knows there is no quote that has that exact thought.

If refusing to serve the God of the Bible, the one who commands genocide, rape, and the likes... ...if that gets one to eternal suffering in Hell, I will see you there.

Lot of threads about hell the past few days.

OTWO - I know that I defend God a lot on this forum, to you and to others, and the other day I had the thought: why am I defending a God that people believe ordered rape and murder of innocents, as well as baby head-bashing? Would God want someone to follow that idea of Him?

I don't think anyone is going to be shoved into 'hell' because they refused to advocate rape, murder and infanticide.

But the truth is that I am defending the God that Jesus showed us by word and example: loving, forgiving, protective of innocents, merciful and compassionate. People might not believe in Him, and they may cast judgment on the manner of ancient wars that might have been needed to stop far worse atrocities; but I don't think many have something bad to say about the God Jesus showed us.

And just what would that accomplish? How would that be just? He wouldn't 'learn' anything or 'change'... given that he has no opportunity to - it's eternal.

It's called "escalation of violence". "He hurt me, so I want him to hurt even more." After a trillion, trillion, trillion years... the 'couple thousand years' of suffering Satan caused would all but disappear in the unending violence God would be guilty of.

Why would an intelligent God want that on his name?
