My personal experience is that teetotalers aren't trustworthy people, they usually have some enormous flaw. Moderate drinkers, on the hand, are. Regarding smoking, my experience as a waiter taught me to always prefer the smoking section of restaurants. Smokers were generally a much more agreeable, generous group of people to serve.

Hey, don't worry--I'm not putting out any ads in the personals anytime soon. I could hardly forget about the family--my office is loaded with pics of 'em! I'm just sayin', past tense, my non-smoking, non-drinking didn't get me any good attention. I got the feeling that women really preferred the 'bad boy' who does just that because he's more exciting.

That's interesting. I'm a moderate drinker but non-smoker who did try it out for a little bit but didn't see the fun. Got tired of wheezing to breathe after trying it. Love liquor, though. I'm a social drinker. I didn't say I didn't like drinkers. I said I don't like men who get drunk. A buzz is fun, though.

I only smoke cigarettes occasionally, and only socially, it seems that most of my friends are smokers. I do smoke pipe or cigar biweekly or so. I enjoy them in the right setting.

I come from a long line of drinkers. However, I don't recall ever seeing my father or grandfather drunk.

That is not true........ it is just that the 'bad boy' acts more comfortable/confident in his own skin by behaving like he is self-assured of himself!
A man who is comfortable and confident, talks to women with confidence (not full-of-himself) are usually the guys who get lots of girls numbers.
Most women want men who have leadership potential that all.......and easy going confidence portrays it exceptionally!
THat said most women past 30 don't care for the 'bad boys' usually because they are Ex-husbands by then!

That would be me ... LOL I don't smoke or get drunk, although I may have a glass of wine of a beer once in a while. But I'm married. I guess the same could be said of quality women. I don't care how beautiful a woman looks, if she smokes, she's the ugliest thing to me.

Women are fricking strange. When I was young and hunky, they ignored me. Now that I am ugly overweight balding and married with kids so I don't really care to impress anyone, and in my late thirties, they hit on me like crazy.
