@kurtbethel:
Michael is one of the members of the Watchtower Trinity. According to the Watchtower, Michael is also the Pope. - The Finished Mystery p. 188
In your post, you have mistakenly put out there the idea that many, upon reading your statement, would conclude, without their having done any checking for accuracy (since it is popular for many folks to just assume that something that someone else says has been verified before repeating what they have read, which in many cases they have not!) with respect to what Charles T. Russell had been teaching in those years between 1886 and 1904 when he published the first six volumes of Studies in the Scriptures.
The seventh volume, "The Finished Mystery, was published posthumously in 1917 by the WTS, and it had not been edited for publication by Russell, since it was impossible for he to have signed off on the seventh volume since he had died the year before in 1916, and the fact that some 12 years has elapsed between the release of Studies in the Scriptures, Volume 6, "The New Creation" (1904), and his death indicates that he had, for whatever reason, put off the publication of Volume 7 of the "Studies in the Scriptures" series. In fact, we find on page 5 of Volume 7, as part of the "Preface," the statement that "[t]his book may properly be said to be a posthumous publication of Pastor Russell," and on page 10 of Volume 7, the "Explanatory Note" begins with the words, "This posthumous work of Pastor Russell...."
It is true that one finds on page 188 of Volume 7, "The Finished Mystery," the following:
Michael.— "Who as God," the Pope.— B275; C62.
However, one would know the "275" to have been a typographical error were one to check the volume to which "B275" refers -- "B" being a reference to "Studies in the Scriptures, Volume 2, 'The Time is at Hand,'" and the "275" to be the page number, for on this page 275 there is no reference made to Michael at all. In fact, page "275" is part of the chapter, "Study IX, The Man of Sin-Antichrist," which explains the reference to "the Pope" in Volume 7, but not to "Michael." What perhaps what page 188 of Volume 7 should have read was this:
Michael.— "Who as God," the Pope.— B147; C62.
On page "147," you would find the following excerpt:
B147 (not "B275")
Excerpt from Studies in the Scriptures, Volume 2, "The Time is at Hand" (1889), p. 147:
"THE VOICE OF THE ARCHANGEL" is another striking symbol of similar import. The name "archangel" signifies chief messenger; and our anointed Lord himself is Jehovah’s Chief Messenger—the "Messenger of the Covenant." (Mal. 3:1) Daniel refers to the same personage, calling him Michael, which name signifies who as God—an appropriate name for him who is "the express image of the Father’s person," and the representative of his authority and power. The voice of the Archangel represents Christ’s authority and command. This symbol, then, represents Christ as taking control, or beginning his reign and issuing his commands, his official orders, announcing the change of dispensation by the enforcement of the laws of his kingdom.
Were one to check the volume to which "C62" refers -- the "C" being a reference to "Studies in the Scriptures, Volume 3, "Thy Kingdom Come,'" reference is made to Michael on page 62 of the chapter, "Study III, Days of Waiting for the Kingdom," which chapter reviews Daniel's prophecy beginning with "the time of the end" when "Michael [would] stand up" (Daniel 12:1) and take rulership "in the days of those kings" (Daniel 2:44) and bring an end to this system of things following the great tribulation" (Matthew 24:21). On page "62" of Volume 3, Michael is identified as "our Great Redeemer," and "the great Prince ordained of God," thereby associating "Michael" with the Lord Jesus Christ and not to the Pope. Now this particular typographical error to which you have here pointed others in your message should rightly be laid at the feet of Clayton J. Woodworth and George H. Fisher who were primarily responsible for the editorial content of Volume 7, but like Russell, they, too, were imperfect men that were dedicated to doing the work of the Lord.
On page "62," you would find the following excerpt:
C62
Excerpt from Studies in the Scriptures, Volume 3, "Thy Kingdom Come" (1891), p. 62:
If, in the eleventh chapter, the summary of 2,300 years of the world’s history was brief and pointed, yet clear, this summary of Messiah’s Millennial reign, in three verses, is still more so. And yet it is all there. Michael (which signifies "Who as God," or one representing God) is the name here applied to our great Redeemer, who is indeed the great Prince ordained of God to stand forth and deliver Daniel’s people, God’s people—all who love God in truth and sincerity— Israelites indeed. (Rom. 9:6,25,26; Gal. 6:16) He will deliver them from sin, ignorance, pain and death, and from all the persecutions and besetments of Satan’s blinded servants, which have in the past almost overwhelmed them. All found written in the Lamb’s Book of life will be delivered forever, from all enemies: those written as worthy during the Jewish and Patriarchal ages as well as those written during the Gospel age, and those who will be written during the Millennial age.
Excerpt from Studies in the Scriptures, Volume 7, "The Finished Mystery" (1917), pp. 5-7:
Pastor Russell was a man of unusual modesty. Great men usually are modest. The examination of the contents of this book will disclose the fact that it deals with Revelation and Ezekiel; that the Lord long ago caused to be recorded therein, in symbolic language, a history of the Church, particularly the closing earthly experiences thereof; and therein set forth that He would uncover the many frauds, deceptions and blasphemous teachings and practices of the church nominal— both Catholic and Protestant; that in the last days He would then make bare the unholy alliance between the unrighteous ecclesiastical systems and the corrupt political elements of the earth, which religious systems have prospered and grown fat in the name of Christ; that the Lord pronounces His indignation and wrath against all such Babylonish systems and marks their utter destruction in a Time of Trouble such as the world has never known and will never again know; and that the earthly creature made prominent therein above all others is the messenger of the Laodicean Church— "that wise and faithful servant of the Lord"— CHARLES TAZE RUSSELL. In view of the facts stated, is it at all surprising that the Lord spared him the publication of the Seventh Volume?
But the fact is, he did write it. This book may properly be said to be a posthumous publication of Pastor Russell. Why? Because to him the Lord gave the "key", to him was given the privilege of making clear to the Church in its last years the "Mystery of God"; to him was granted the privilege of hearing from the hands of the Lord to the Household of Faith "meat in due season" for the special development and sustenance of God’s dear little ones. This service he has faithfully performed. This book is chiefly a compilation of things which he wrote and which have been brought together in harmonious style by property applying the symbols which he explained to the Church....
With the "key" which Brother Russell, as the Lord’s servant, had placed in his hands, Brother Woodworth, by the Lord’s grace, has been enabled to bring together everything that Brother Russell wrote on Revelation, and to explain and harmonize the other parts of that book with the Divine Plan; also, to treat similarly, the Song of Solomon.
It seemed pleasing to the Lord that Brothers C. J. Woodworth and George H. Fisher should prepare the Seventh Volume, under the direction of the WATCH TOWER BIBLE AND TRACT SOCIETY. While both residing in the same city, they have worked separate and apart from each other, not even comparing notes. The reader will be able to judge how fully the work of each harmonizes with that of the other and with the Divine Plan, thus giving further evidence of the Lord’s direction in this matter.
Pastor Russell long ago said, in substance, that the Seventh Volume would not be for the development of the Church; that the preceding six volumes of STUDIES IN THE SCRIPTURES contain the necessary spiritual food for that purpose. Asked why, then, it would be written, he replied, "It will probably be given to the Church in a time of direst need, for her comfort and encouragement....
The publisher takes pleasure in presenting this, the Seventh Volume, to the remaining members of the Church, and to all who may read with profit to themselves and to the glory of the Lord Jesus and our Father. As the Lord has sent forth the other six volumes, His blessing has accompanied each. That His blessing may be upon this volume, to the comfort and encouragement of the dear saints in the hour of direst need, is our prayer!

"The only angel/human hybrids mentioned in the Bible are the Nephilim.
Mad: Very astute; he was obviously THERE an knows what they looked like! Actually they formed human bodies, while the son of God's life was transferred into Mary's womb. NOT the same.
"they don't offer any explanation as to how"
Mad: HOW can we, when the scientific details aren't there?
DD babbles" Jesus said: he (the MAN) "came down from heaven". This means a MAN (named Jesus) was in heaven."
Mad: Foolish DD, don't you know that there is no flesh & blood bodies in heaven? No McDonald's either...Sorry to burst yer bubble!
That's good work djeggnog.
Bwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!
Are you anti-Jws Russelites? To bad you study his writings more than the Bible; even WE don't study them! You feeble attempts to discredit what we believe are truly pitiful!
Mad: Foolish DD, don't you know that there is no flesh & blood bodies in heaven? No McDonald's either...Sorry to burst yer bubble!
So If there was no flesh & blood in heaven as you say, what exactly came down from heaven?
Mad
I ALWAYS answer a question,
If there's no flesh & blood in heaven, Did a spirit being come down?
Another new wrinkle to the Trinity, how many views does that make................
Oh it just doesn't get any better than hearing the junk from the horses mouth.
