There were riots, murders, violence, mayhem and unrest all throughout the sectarian overlap of competing christian congregations.

    Please provide a reference.

Before I provide the references, let me ask you a question. Have you done ANY research at all into the early history of your beliefs?

Have you read ANY christian history at any time at all? Do you placidly accept whatever you hear from any source? Are there references that will convince you?

    Just curious.

In the meantime review this article about the reaction of early Christians toward the Trinity doctrine pro and con:

What difference does it make? You made a statement and I asked for a reference. Stop dodging the request.

However, yes I've done tons of research and continue to do more.

Have you read ANY christian history at any time at all?

See above, I'd have to go to the library to get you a list.

Do you placidly accept whatever you hear from any source?

Not ever. Including people named Terry. About a year ago we parted ways with our church. I presently do not adhere to any set of doctrines other than what suits me.

Are there references that will convince you?

Any reasonably scholarly source with documentation and references will do.

Now, do you have a reference for that statement?

Sorry about the delay. I don't have internet and have to "leech" at Starbucks or Wendy's. I usually get on before work or just after.

    Back to the topic.

    EUSEBIUS: History of the Church

Eusebius is the first and foremost historian of the church.

The main cause of early controversies which led to violence was twofold.

    1.Schisms

    2.Heresies

Before and up to the time of Constantine the following heresies developed:

    1. The Gnostic heresy

Here are a few of the leading points:

      1. Dualism.
      2. Docetism
      3. The Marcionite heresy
      4. "Unitarian" or "Dynamic Monarchian" heresy
      5. Modalistic Monarchian/Sabellian heresy
      6. Montanist heresy/schism
      7. Novatianist schism
      8. When Constantine came along he sought to weld the Christian community into a political support group against Licinius his chief rival.

The Christians preferred a champion like Constantine to an obvious Pagan like Licinius. They FOUGHT against and defeated Licinius.

Constantine and the early church persecuted the pagans just as the Pagans had sought to stifle the Christians.

Constantine used the his political power to crush dissidents, schismatics, heretics and such.

However, since there was no orthodoxy as such--just christians disagreeing honestly with other christians--the pressures became intense to come out as the PURIST of the competing ideas.

Many got carried away with enforcing their ideas.

The Council of Nicea sought to put an end to this rivalry.

After it ended the tool used by Constantine to wipe out disagreement was violent. Fellow (now) orthodox Christians eagerly followed suit any way that they could.

Maybe we need to define "early Christian." When I use the term I'm thinking AT MOST the first two centuries CE.

Constantine was born in 272. If you're talking that era I would agree with you. I'm under the impression things were more peaceful before that.

I agree about defining 'early Christian'. I also define it as the first two centuries (AT MOST). Even better, no more than the first century after Jesus died.

AH, I see what you mean Terry,

I was thinking along the lines of the first few generations:
The apostles, thier disciples and their disciples.

Yeah, when man-made doctrines started to rear their ugly heads people got, as they still do, vicious and malicious.

Going beyond what was taught and putting the core teaching sof CHirst in the "back burner" was what caused those messes.

Of course this was nothing new as ALL religions had and continue to have those very same problems, the Saudacees and Pharisees just got a long splendidly...NOT.

See, the issue is that, somewhere along th elines, people ( Chrisitans in this case) felt that, there was ONLY ONE VALID interpretation to what Christ leaft behind and though it was a worth fighting for, going against the very teachings of christ.

It got worse and worse after Constantine with murders taking place!

The divisions (sects) of True Believers (called by those who disagreed: heretics!) must have put modern day Fundamentalist Mulims to shame with

      their black and white thinking!

Which is better Islam or Atheism?

Today, it is ironic that American Christianity has degenerated to such a degree that Islam has surpassed it in morality (its position on homosexuality, prostitution, promiscuity, pornography, drunkenness, gambling, racism, and even honesty in business.) Of course, American Christianity has risen to a higher level in regarding God as being love and the giver of all the freedoms -- as long as they don't interfere with the freedoms of others who choose to live a sinful life -- and here is the irony: which is the higher moral standard?

The Devolution of the Human Species back to its Neanderthal Origins

Archeologists and Anthropologists are finally discovering that the reason the Neanderthals and Homo sapiens were able to intermarry and produce children is that they were genetically compatible. In fact, we could have known this by just reading the Bible; God created both the human being (Adam & Eve, Genesis 2:7-8) and the human animal (Genesis 1:27-28 -- the Tribes of East of Eden that Cain married into. Genesis 4:16-24.)

Modern evidence of this was even written about in the N.Y. Times April 25, 1999 article, "Discovery Suggests Humans Are a Bit Neanderthal," by John Noble Wilford. "Neanderthals and modern humans not only coexisted for thousands of years long ago, as anthropologists have established, but now their little secret is out: they also cohabited." "The skeleton from 24,500 years ago, of a boy discovered in Portugal, demonstrates that early modern humans and Neanderthals are not all that different," said Dr. Erik Trinkaus, a paleoanthropologist at Washington University in St. Louis. "They intermixed, interbred and produced offspring." You can read more about my article on the Theory of the Aborigine.

      Ramadan at the White House

While celebrating the Muslim holiday of Ramadan in the White House, Obama spoke in favor of building a mosque near ground zero, where Muslims are planning to build a mosque for Muslims and a cultural center for the inter-faith religion. Republicans are protesting the building of a mosque near ground zero; but apparently the fact that Obama is celebrating Muslim holidays in the White House is being taken as simply a matter of religious freedom. Is crucifying children and beheading Christians in Islamic countries also a matter of religious freedom? Is it going to be regarded as religious freedom when these religious observances come to America? No, we will draw the line there? What do you think will happen after the Muslims build a mosque at ground zero? When Americans go to the polls this November they should have a few answers to these questions.

As the Tea Partiers are busy protesting Obama's excesses, the US Court system is striking down US laws against Gay and Lesbian marriage and the right to adopt and raise children according to their lifestyles. "Sodom and Gomorrah" is back and Lott has already been kicked out.

Ramadan is for fasting - a Muslim holiday; asking forgiveness for sins. If Ramadan is being celebrated in the White House, why is it a problem to celebrate Ramadan at Ground Zero?

The Rise and Fall of False Christianity

The word "God" was used for the first time in the 6th Century AD. Most of the Scriptures were written thousands of years before that, when in fact there was even no English language. So American Christianity invented its own religion according to its interpretation of the Hebrew Old Testament and the Apostolic New Testament originated in the Ancient Aramaic language (the language that Jesus spoke and the language in which all the Scriptures were originated.) However, starting in the 16th Century, European Christianity adopted the Greek Septuagint and the Latin Vulgate for its translation of the Bibles. These Bibles were not strictly based on the teachings of Jesus and the Faith of the Apostles; they were based on an interpretation of these translations. Many atrocities were committed in the name of Christianity, such as the Inquisition, the persecution of Jews in Europe for centuries and finally the Holocaust, the murder and relocation of Native Americans, and today the persecution of Eastern Christianity by the secularized leaders of America, (as of the 20th Century: Wilson, Roosevelt, Truman, Kennedy, Carter, Clinton and Obama.) So that it is interesting to note that Obama is holding Americans to a higher standard of Christianity, namely a Christianity laced with the values of Islam! Freedom of Religion is a gift from God, so why not celebrate Muslim holidays in the White House? This is where Louis Farrakhan and Jeremiah Wright come in: they are holding American Christianity to task with respect to the latter's hypocritical attitudes towards race, equality and toleration.

While American Christianity regards God as pure love, a God who does not ultimately wish to send anyone to burn in hell forever, Islam and even Judaism regards God with a certain degree of fear. All three monotheistic religions, however, believe that there is a Satan and that there is evil in the world; but American Christianity believes that God has conquered Satan and, therefore, Satan has no more power over them, and more interestingly Americans believe that once they have accepted Jesus that all their sins are forgiven -- their sins in the past, in the present and in the future. This position of America's Christianity is truly endearing; it is what makes America the beautiful more beautiful than can possibly be imagined. It is possibly what makes Mexican pregnant ladies dive across the border just to give birth to American babies.

Now the Republicans wish to pass a law that reverses this magnificent loophole in the attainment of Salvation: a perpetually sin-free and everlasting life that God has granted only to the American people -- if they qualify! What are the qualifications? Well, we live in a country with a Living Constitution. It lives and breathes like a nation with its own rules and desires; it is a changeable feast, with laws that evolve according to its knowledge and definition of an ever expanding universe.

The fact is that American Christians have lost touch with reality; American Christianity is floundering, the Bibles do not make sense (there are millions of interpretations), many of the churches are shepherded by gay pastors and priests, and even pedophiles, murderers and abusive church leaders (their trials are frequently in the news), and finally the whole Apostolic Mission of the Disciples of Jesus and His Apostles have come to end in modern America. It is time for an Apostolic revival of the Faith in His Name, and America might be the last place where it could happen; because the same freedoms that handed the Executive Branch to a former Muslim can be utilized by the servants of the Messiah, the Messiah that was prophesied by the Scriptures thousands of years ago. What is an Apostolic Church? Read more about the Faith of the Apostles.

      Iraq Lost to Terrorists

The troops pulled out of Iraq yesterday. Obama made good on his promise to end the Liberation of Iraq and abandon America's allies in Iraq. What will follow now is the total victory of Al-Qaeda and the assassination of the elected officials of Iraq one after the other. This was predicted several years ago when the Democrats began to call the liberation of Iraq a mistake and a lost war. The remaining American advisers in Iraq will remain there until they are driven out by the foreign enemies of Iraq. All the sacrifices of the American soldiers are being wasted by Obama and his Democratic Party. This is the end of America's influence in the Middle East. There will be no need to outline the steps of this downfall. The world news reports will follow the disasters that will happen and the American media will distort all the news, so no one will be able to make sense of the history of these disasters and genocides of innocent peoples in the Middle East.

One thing is clear, however; Satan's plan to destroy the Apostolic Faith in Mesopotamia has finally been achieved by the atheists in the US and Europe. The price for this betrayal of the followers of the Messiah in the East will be the ongoing Islamization of Europe and America.

Separation of Church and State Revisited

Separation of Church and State does not mean Separation of Mosque and State. Therefore, it is alright to celebrate Ramadan in the White House; but it is not alright to celebrate Christmas in the White House (it may offend someone.) To be fair, there was a Holiday Tree allowed in the White House. Many people sent ornaments for the Tree; but none of the ones that were about Jesus were hung on the Tree. Since there is no precedent for the Separation of Mosque and State, it should be possible to make the US an Islamic Republic. If there were such a plan, the Supreme Court would have to finally take up the issue of Separation of Church and State and see if that was Constitutional in the first place.

Mission Impossible, the final episode To get the job accomplished, it is necessary to throw the dog a bone. There is a little over two years left and Obama must accomplish the task for which he was elected President. He has had his fun in the White House and he has played Commander in Chief long enough; now to the business at hand.

First, the bone: health care for the masses; the liberals are satisfied and go off licking their chops Now, the mission.

      1) The Muslims who financed him must be finally granted equal opportunity in America to pursue their religious freedom and to be allowed to prosper as they had in the former Soviet Union.

      2) The Blacks who supported him must be granted their inalienable rights as stated in the Constitution and for which they have endured their suffering for two centuries.

      3) The dynasties who have owned most of the real estate and mineral rights in America must be protected against the common man and the newcomers.

      4) The distribution of wealth among the lower and middle classes (stimulus money for everyone and extension of unemployment benefits until everyone has had enough).

      5) Reparations to Blacks who were enslaved in America and their descendants without limitation.

      6) Restoration of pride for all people of color.

      7) Extricating the US from all its obligations abroad and apologizing to all injured parties.

      8) Restoring fair competition in the world markets and guaranteeing liquidity to the stock markets.

      9) Fixing of monetary value of currency according to the atheist world order.

      10) Outlawing Christianity from government institutions

If you are Muslim, Christianity gives you something to be against.

Well. That is something, at least.
