In teaching, educating and issuing laws I like to question first..
* what do I want to achieve?
* what do I want to prevent?
* how can I do it in the most efficient way?
Then I act.
Then I observe if achieve what I was looking for.
Then I wonder how can I do it better next time.
My children make me want to be a better father. But the actually make me a better father. When teaching them I learn more from them.
The only use I have for the rod is...... :-)

My frustration is when people don't differentiate between hitting, beating, and spanking.
Could you please tell me how do you define them and when do you think its the best to use either one of them?
