I live in Florida, when the brothers from New Jersy would say the prayer from the platform, they would say,
Dear Jehober God, Thats how they talk in New Yauk and Joisy.
They couldnt help it they were counseled about it many times.
People from Boston cant say his name either.
They cant say any words that have A's in them.
Open Mind,
Be careful of saying THAT name in front of Scar! Mu-FASA! hahaha
Xchange,
Hahaha! Cute one. Guess you're not on that path. Pagan paths don't tend to evangelize.
"Acceptance of others, their looks, their behaviors, their beliefs, bring you an inner peace and tranquility -- instead of anger and resentment." ..Be kind to yourself . .... To argue with inflamed beliefs is pointless........it will not make your day !!!
Caliber:
Your kindness and gentleness have made my day. You, and others, have helped me to reinforce the power of thinking positively about everything. I was made fun of as a child because of my unusual looks. All that's changed now, but the pain's still there.
Fortunately for me, I had a father who was kindly and never spoke ill of anyone, even if he had been justified in doing so.
Peace and love,
CoCo
Here's how the hyenas in Lion King respond when they hear Jehovah, err, Mufasa.

ignorance is ignorance
Nothing wrong with it religiously speaking. It's a fiction.
The problem is as has been stated, that it could scare off people who otherwise could be helped by this message board. I visited here years ago and promptly left because of the disrespect I saw here (I don't remember whether it was specifically disrespect about the name or what, just that it felt like a really hostile environment for a faithful JW to be in).
The WTS likes to use ellipses in their quotes... So do I...
Gal 6:7 "God is ... one to be mocked"
So, since the Bible says its ok to mock god, go for it!
If Jehover doesn't like how people say his name, he is free to let us know how we should pronounce it. If he keeps silent, then I suppose that means he is acquiescing.
I give that name the same respect I got from it.....zero!!
sorry, just how i feel!
