Here is what I got out of the letters:
1. Putting blood in your body is bad.
2. Putting blood fractions in your body is up to your conscience.
3. If you don't understand this, don't worry about it ("it would be appropriate at this time to let the matter rest" - August 24, 1998)
4. If you do something wrong, you will be disfellowshipped.
They have setup cryptic rules that they themselves do not understand, yet if you break one of the rules, they will destroy your life.
The elder had come across one of the clear examples of what is wrong with the Org. The problem is that he does not what to admit it to himself.
When the Governing Body themselves are unable to explain their own policy in a logical fashion, I believe it is your responsibility to make sure you don’t die from it.
A few weeks back I had a PO over to the house and he could not explain it either. He suggested I write the Governing Body, but as we know they don’t have the answers either. Their motto is: just blindly obey; wait on Jehovah and in the mean time let them die. Amazing! Thanks for the letters confirming the utter foolishness of this wacky policy.

I just let Mr. Jensen know about this now going fully public. It was in the public eye before but this is really going public now.

He is absolutely stunned. I think a lot of you should write him and support him because I know there is going to be an investigation and all hell will be breaking loose at Bethal over this.
BTW - this elder knows what is wrong with the Borg.

If Mr. Jensen didn't approve of the exposure, I hope he has been
given enough 'deniability' (covert ops) to release him from any
reprisals by the Society.
I realize that lives are involved here but progress on blood
could be halted by 'outing' people who are vunerable.

Moreover, whatever one's decision is, this should not prevent him from helping others to understand what has been published by "the faithful and discreet slave" on the subject in the light of the Scriptures.

Thanks, Randy, for doing what was right without waiting any longer for ajwrb which was extremely inactive in 2001. May God's Spirit and the voices of those who bled to death and have been shouting for justic bless you infinitely for such goodness.
