Personally, they should keep him in Afaganistain.

If you kill him, you will confirm not only in his mind but other extreme Taliban Muslims he a martyr and hero.

He should be stripped of his citizen ship and just left there.

If Johnny Walker Taliban wants to be a martyr for Islam we should help him achieve his goal. Ghosts have no power. To paraphrase General Patton, let the poor son-of-a-bitch die for HIS beliefs.

The U.S. government is returning John Walker to the states for trial. What do you consider an appropriate punishment for his mis-deeds?

How could I possibly know? What are his deeds? I don't know. What is his defense? I don't know. What factors came into play? I don't know. Is the U.S. government lying about him? I don't know.

Let the guy have a trial and then we'll know the answers to these questions. Until then, what on earth is this vindictive rush to judgment all about? Whatever happened to the concept of innocent until proven guilty? A few news stories appear and people are ready to kill?? Talk about progagandistic manipulation in action! This is mob mentality.

Here's what should happen to Johnny bin Walker.

    1. Shave the hair off of his scrotum
    2. Apply kerosene to it with a dirty shop rag
    3. Ignite his sac by smashing 2 pieces of flintrock into it
    4. Allow him to run as fast as he can in an effort to extinguish the
    flames

Oops, I'm sorry I thought this thread was about my fraternity hazing in college.

Let him go in the U.S.,,,I sincerely doubt he would get a warm reception from most and definitely could not go out in public. Kind of like a national shunning perhaps.

    Seeker,

I heard his mother today on some interviews. Did you know seeker she did not hear from her son until she saw him on TV? Talk aobut not know where your kids are or what they are doing. I wonder what she really though when she saw her son toting an assult gun? "Honey Jonnie on TV, watch this and call our lawyer."

A fair trial should be what happens first. After that you yankee dudes can do with him whatever you want, I suppose. Stick him in the electric chair, gas him...Hell, chain him to the back of a pickup truck and drag him a few miles. Make yourself all feel better huh!

Hey, you guys try your own however you want and in the meantime ship our guy David Hicks back here so we can try him our way, rather than have him face a possible secret military trial
    and subsequent death penalty.

HI,GWEEDO, I am not familiar with David Hicks, can you provide me with some information on him?

Seeker;Thank you for your weighty response. I posted this query to get a sounding of peoples views. As you can see, most favor a stern punishment. My original post, stated "if found guilty". I am sure he will receive a fair hearing[probably far better than myself or another average citizen would] as far as our "poor" legal system[according to some] will allow. I don't see the "MOB" mentality that you see; I see the venting of pain and anger for the perceived act of terrorism[that of being aligned with those who injured the U.S.]

    Mike,

The mob mentality I referred to was all the comments that want to do him harm right now, before the trial, before they know the facts. Remember, the media routinely lies to us, so what they have told us about Walker may or may not be true. It is possible we are being manipulated by propaganda into thinking things are far worse than they appeared.

Or it could be that Walker is as guilty as charged, in which case I support whatever punishment the law allows -- not the torture being suggested in this thread either.

Seeker; What you say about the media[paper and tv/radio] is exactly true. They have an agenda, such as the WT does...they wish to sell their product. Stroking the public with mis-information and hype is what they do. OJ is a prime example of their showmanship.
