So much for the bullshit. Iam not impressed. I think the watchtower days are numbered. These people [GB] are living in the world of illusion. I have had anough of them during my days with them.

EVERY belief in JW hinges on Armageddon:
Go to ALL the meetings - if you don't, you may die at Armageddon
Don't slow down in service - if you do, you may go astray and die at Armageddon
Don't associate with wordly people - if you do, you will become like them and die at armageddon
Beware of the internet - so many things on there will get you destroyed at armageddon
Watch out for facebook, there are worldy people on there and you may get in with them and die at armageddon
You should be pioneering, because if you can do it, but you don't, you aren't serving whole souled and you will die at armageddon.
I think there's like 23,000 other ones too....

As long as the GB of the WTS can cull people by using tactics of provocative fear and coercion
they will be around. They've got the literature they have the people.
I think they even know that.
This had me LMAO!
JWs will be spared because they use Gods name (of all things! he is really picky about that name!).
God is that picky about the use of his name? I hope he enjoys being called Baghead or Almighty Lowlife Scumbag, since that is what he actually is.
And the organization is about as deplorable as they come. How often they claim to pursue love, peace, and enlightenment. Yet, all they create is fear, guilt, and shame--which only drags people down. Many that leave notice that, while they were in, they were affected by the general atmosphere of fear, shame, and guilt. And yet they have the nerve to talk about the "poisonous atmosphere of the world".
I created a stir in a congregation once by asking an elder's wife, "what is the purpose of life?". Of course, she said "to serve Jehovah". I replied, "the purpose of life is happiness and if you pick something else, then you are not choosing happiness as your goal. If happiness is not your goal, then what is the point of living?"
This hit her like a ton of bricks. I got into some trouble over that but it shows how fragile their dream world is. If you are depressed and miserable now as a Witness, who cares about Armageddon?

I remember clearly the Sunday my daughter, in her early teens at the time, came to me and asked if she could stop going to the Meetings, she just couldn't take it anymore. The End of the World mantra had taken its toll.
She was our canary in the coal mine.
Continuing to preach the imminent end of 99.9% of the worlds' population for the last century and-a-half!
The end has been hanging just around the corner for so long now, one can't help but wonder if it will ever leave.
