Ok Slipnslide...
First of all, I dont have to answer to you.
Second of all, you were not present when I was in chat and little Mr FredHall continues his endless little snide remarks. Were you? Try not to be so judgmental of everyone else's position. Im not making assumptions based off nothing, Im stating facts of things that happened in my personal experience. So a word of advice, if you dont have something useful to say to me? Back off.
As I stated in a seperate thread, I wont bite my tongue for someone else to appease them. I will be polite and respectful when that designation is earned by someone else. If they choose to act like a $@@%$%@, then I will treat them accordingly.
Thank you for your cooperation.
Also of note-
"Jehovah will provide" was a popular catchphrase around here.
I remember this experience like it was yesterday, although it was roughly 5 years ago.
When I first graduated from high school at 16 and chose to start college at 16, the elders in my local congregation advised very strongly against it. "Why not pioneer? Dedicate your youth to the full-time service?" To which I replied "full-time service wont pay the rent or a car note" and that tended to peeve them. Never swayed, they then said "well you wont have a mortgage or car note if you apply yourself and go to Bethel, all is provided for you"... and I made the remark "looks like youve mapped out my entire life for me eh? U suppose getting married and having a family and children of my own like YOU chose to do is unacceptable."
THAT shut them up.
The true Kingdom of God is located in your heart, not an organization of hypocrites.
