I sent a .pdf to a few friends and one of them betrayed me and forward it to a Elder i know, along with the emails of the recipients.
That's why it's a good practice to put the recipient addresses in the BCC field.

hello everyone, it has been forever since being here, and I had received an email from Randy Waters and noticed the info on the new elder bk. So sorry Smoky you got into a heap of trouble over it all. Some people don't know how to keep secrets. Well bud I was kind of wondering if you would pm and lead me to the place i need to go to for a copy of this very intriguing piece of literature for the future generations (no pun intended) of JW'S, oh how they have no idea what awaits them.

I would imagine your friend who turned you in did so innocently enough.....especially since it was his brother who he mentioned it to. You did a great job playing dumb and offering to delete it.
The Elder probably doesn't want to get involved in a big ordeal anyway, since he's just like everyone else and wouldn't want to have cause trouble for his brother. Not to mention the fact that there is nothing scripturally wrong with what you did.

They have higher standards in Bethel? First I have heard of that....further away is just less regimented (less organized according to a strict, oppressive system), more human.
