One thing to take from the new generation teaching that its is an illogical deceptive spin based from a false doctrine
namely 1914. The entire generation who saw the signs beginning in 1914 have all but passed away now.
So what did the WTS. do to make them appear truthful and spiritually guided they added an (s) to Jesus's own words.
How fraudulent and deceptive can a group of people be. Well what do expect from an religion that thwarts lies
of fearful provocation to cull people toward them and then exploits them to distribute their literature.
The Watchtower corporation is a religious publishing cult that exploits people's fears and insecurities to obtain power
and money and that folks is " The Truth "

The fact that the governing body can throw out the "shingle generation" suggests that they don't care. The fact that the r&f accept the new light suggests that the governing body does not need to care.

The reason the R & F JWS have gone along with this deceptive patch job is because they
have been under the mental control by the WTS and their fear mongering phobias that they
instill into the people's minds.
Its dirty manipulation but it works as one can see.
Hence a deceptive religious cult.

Is it possible for you to make your point without insulting people and questioning their intelligence?
Please note that people are disfellowshipped for reasons other than sexual misconduct. Many more people voluntary leave the organization after opening their minds and doing some research
I thought these quotes to be very interesting to consider and bear repeating !! ( many here are not unintelligent sexual degenerates)
I wish to add further to the above thought ..... Not everyone who have left are God hating , lazy, weak- minded loveless, evil sexual deviant perverts ... even if it says so right in the Watchtower ! A lot like myself are not even DF or DA , but remain in limbo to help and maintain natural, normal family ties.(which the Wt have sought to take away )
I believe that the stretching and shrinking of the term generation is all to do with the fact that the supposed starting point of 1914
cannot be moved or altered without undermining the bases for believing that God appointed the WTS in 1919 .

I have to disagree with you there Thetrueone, they still consider it one generation, by makin' up a whole new meaning as to what a generation is.
the old meaning was Father + Son = two generations
the new meaning of a generation according to the WT can include Father + Son + Grandson + Great Grandson = one generation

If one was to truly and purely accept Jesus's words as this generation, which at the the furthest limit would mean the youngest child to
the very oldest elder, who witnessed the events starting in 1914, that would make at most a little over one hundred years.
So at the most if nothing happens lets say by 2020 then the WTS. self purported end times doctrine was a calculable lie or in
religious terms a false doctrine used to cull people toward the organization.
That is if one were to be honest in the interpretation of the words of Jesus there is a tell tale limit to the 1914 end times doctrine.
Now being that the WTS is disingenuously corrupt as its always been, its not surprising that they would try to spin their
past predecessor's doctrine to try to evoke their spiritual purity that they say they have over all of the other religions out there.
the END TIMES is really about to run out and they know it.

" the END TIMES is really about to run out and they know it."
Hey trueone, according to the reasoning book it already has
-
thetrueone
The END TIMES doctrine has always been a fallacious doctrine in all of its pertaining aspects.
First and most important, the bible does not state that the FDSL would be given a calculable date of Christ's return,
the (7 x 70 times) is nothing but speculative nonsense created when it was realized that Russell's Pyramidology
was pure farcical rubbish.
The supposed signs of the times such as increased earthquakes, wars and rumors of wars,
proclamations of peace by governments, famine and pestilence, lawlessness and so on,
can be debunked by researching history and gathering information from geological institutes.
Just as the END TIMES was used by the WTS in Russell's time, today's WTS uses this supposed bible based
idealogical expressive thought in continuing fashion......it sells books and magazines folks thats the short of it.
The WTS exploits the bible's supposed virtuous and believable truth to sell and commercialize their products.

It's all so very silly really.
Except for the fact that many of us here at one point would believe everything the Watchtower said. That brings the seriousness of the WT movement back in to focus.
What a tremendous feeling of freedom to not be trapped inside that silly insignifant group. However, it still bothers me that there are so many who are still blindly following along. What a shameful waste of life!
It's just one of those things you have to come grips with I suppose, like so many other unfortunate situations in this world - you simply can't solve all of humanities problems. We can only do our small part to help others see the real truth whenever we can, but we have to move on with the rest of our lives too.
There is so much this world has to offer, and we are all here for a relatively short period of time.
