This is actually a proof of the concept of the Trinity as well. Notice

Acts 2:24 - God raised up Jesus from the dead

John 10:17,18 - Jesus took up his life again after laying it down

Romans 8:11 - The Holy Spirit resurrected Jesus

Well that's not the answer I was looking for...

Sorry... thought I'd save you a little time and cut through all the bullshit and get down to the real answer.

    Carry on with your debate.

When you're done, come over to the Star Trek board and we can debate over whether Kirk could really have lived in an interspatial condition between parallel universes.

It's easy to just throw away a scripture when it doesn't fit, right?

Actually, I've found it much easier to throw the whole damn book away...

but also the body-members over which he is head.

The Bible did not say this. In fact it says that after he was resurrected the apostles realized that this had been fulfilled in Jesus. How did he raise up the entire "body of Christ" or the Christian church in 3 days? He could only have been talking about his physical body.

Why physical and not a "spiritual" body? Jesus said tear down THIS body, and in 3 days I will raise it up.

Back to my point on the nails in Jesus hands, would that not have been dishonest of Him to somehow form a body with the same nail marks and wound in his side to prove to Thomas that it was Him? The reasonable explanation would be that this WAS his actual body. It fits in with scripture far better than what the WT says about it dissolving into gases. His body would not see corruption.

The conclusion must be that Jesus took up his own body and life again. It is not a contradiction to say that God the Father (edited) and the Holy Spirit also did it.

    You mean, "God the Father"?

    Yeah, I do, LWT

If you were to receive a Personal Revelation, how would this affect your current view of Sola Scriptura?

    Yeah, the Father.

But to say the word "God" is to imply "Father" "Son" and "Holy Spirit"
