Well, let's hear some stories ladies, isn't that what showers are about? Or how about some shower games? Remember the one that you passed around a sock and had to guess the contents, hmmm not too practical here. To be honest, this is my first shower. I mean my first baby shower. I had only a few friends after leaving the org and we did a little dinner together and they all pitched in and bought me a present, but this is a BLAST! And when I had Timmy I had just had Miranda so did not really need anything, except for blue clothes I have so many special friends now and this is great to share with all of you.

First two prenancies I did not like my doctors, so I decided to shop around. Since I was footing the bill and paying cash anyway I decided to be satisfied with this DR. I only went to 2 others before I found my match, nice young man around 30 easy on the eyes, great listener, very easy to talk to, straight shooter and he insists I call him by his first name. Actually everyone calls him by his first name, maybe because his last name is outrageous, I couldn't even begin to pronounce it! I am very happy that I found him, and not "stuck" with someone like before.

It is funny you should mention my mom. Most of you know that I moved up to New York to be closer to my family, though it is a strained relationship. I haven't really had a good conversation with her in about 3 months, just the basics. I do not hide the fact that I have met many people online, and on this forum. She came by the house to drop off some mail around Christmas and saw all of the cards that had been sent. It is going to be such a GOOD witness to her when I show her the gifts and caring thoughts sent to me by all of you demon possessed apostates.lol Perhaps she will see that you do not have to be a witness to be a caring, giving person. Haven't you ever heard that Dr's and nurses make the worst patients? hehe I was doing really good with my bedrest, honestly I still am. When we had to move, I had to taken my children out of the district they were in and change to another. The new district is riddled with problems and even has a deficit of a couple million dollars. I did not want their education to be jeopardized. The hardest part of this was putting together a curriculum and doing the planning for the lessons. The rest is easy as pie, I sit the whole time

The greatest thing about this shower is that it is 2:30 am (can't get comfy) and the gangs all here still. I am so glad that Seeker and Expat decided to show up. What brave men they are to venture in here...lol. Thank you all for coming and I thought the door prizes were cute. Patio, you came all the way from Cali and just stayed for a minute I want to thank those who have emailed me as well

Baby showers in my life have always been a ladies-only thing. When they had showers for my boys, the husbands came and got me and we went to shoot pool so the ladies could have the house to themselves.
