finger I so agree with you and particularly like your "sheep on many hills" analogy.
Are you a TRUE Christian?!?

The Finger
Curtains,
The Ex Witness who said to me "There are sheep on many hills" I think was quoting from a book.
Ding,
Matthew 7:7 “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you." (NIV)
Later in Matthew 7:21-23 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’ (NIV)
Which seems to indicate that some who claim Christianity are not TRUE Christians
Jesus taught Nicodemus in John 3:3
“Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.” (NIV)
“Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. You should not be surprised at my saying, ‘You must be born again. (NIV)
Which is why I quoted 1 Corinthians 15:45 "So it is written: “The first man Adam became a living being”; the last Adam, a life-giving spirit."(NIV)
As a JW I believed I would remain flesh and therefore not born of the Spirit. Therefore not a TRUE Christian.

sounds like an interesting book
a true christian needs to undergo metamorphosis and this can lead to huge differences between christians. I think I get what you are saying. Seeking god does not lead to unity and sameness.
edit: but perhaps I've misunderstood you, the finger. Nevertheless the bible verses you bring to ding's attention provide food for thought so thanks for mentioning them.

Of course, there are sheep on many hills. Fundamentalists teach and preach this. However, it is when they come to the other side of the coin that some New Age "Christians" have a problem with them: The fact that all those different sheep have only one solitary shepherd - Jesus.
Jesus corrected his inner circle of disciples when they complained that there was someone preaching and doing mighty works who did not walk with them.
Luke 9: 49 And John answered and said, Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name; and we forbad him, because he followeth not with us.
50 And Jesus said unto him, Forbid him not: for he that is not against us is for us.However, his words of tolerance does not apply to those who would atempt to make their church a sharer in the Salvation event. See:
How Can My JW, Mormon or Catholic Relatives Be Saved?
The New Testament is a contract with the solitary blood drenched figure of Jesus on one line and the name of the sinner on the other. Any attempt to change that scenario (like the collective salvation taught by the WT ie. the Org. is the ark) will void that contract. Others, like the Catholics seek to add other names to God's side of the contract with Mary as mediator and the Pope as Christs' substitute. This also voids the contract.
Within Christendom there are many things that Christians can legitimately disagree about. The terms of the NT contract isn't one of them.

Perry's save me website: In order for a person who is in these organizations to be saved they will have to go against their official church teaching that makes their own assembly and authority figures a part of Salvation. Why? It is because God is a Jealous God and occupies the unique and solitary position of Savior. He simply will not share this position/office/title with ANYONE ELSE .... nor should he be required to do so. He justly requires EXCLUSIVE devotion.
Translation: God wants you stop giving money to your current church and start giving money to his church.
Sick guilt-ridden paragraph.

you can know this will happend because its a common racial memory that the flying spaghetti monster has made known to all humankind. Take for example the japanese, who are known for depicting how men and schoolgirls alike enjoy the presense of his noodlyness in pictures, movies and litterature.
yes, we can be sure this is the truth. like the FSM himself says -- "chill out, it is all true" --

this aside, Dan make a good point, i really hate the "true" part.
