Are atheists less imaginative about the unknown?

Nothing to understand here. Just another lost theist clutching at straws & trying to validate his weak position by making the ridiculous case that despite the fact that theists are batshit crazy, hey at least they have imagination right?

Well, no, wrong. They don't. They're just naive & more likely to be suckered into believing stupid horseshit. Atheists don't lack imagination, they lack gullbility.

This time I'll go out on a limb and theorize that how atheistic an individual is can be defined by how intolerant they are. Someone who is tolerant and open minded is really more agnostic.

To say that atheism is simply "lack of belief due to of a lack of evidence" is philosophical snake oil IMHO...

I'm being vague because I might have to leave this thread soon.

I don't like my countries party system. I don't like the Democrat vs Republican civil war we have here. The casualties are mostly people's reputations. I guess I want to change the way politics work from a fundamental standpoint.

    mmmmmmmmmkay.....I rest my case.

That's exactly what it is though, you stupid moron.

You believe in god? You pray to him?

Yes? Then you're insane & need locking up.

    No? Then you're an atheist.

    SIMPLE AS THAT!

    Now suck my brain.

There is a TIME & PLACE for generalisation (to use a biblical phrase) & you sir picked the WRONG time & the WRONG place.

My generalization is based of my observations, and my observations are subject to human limitations.

Take Richard Dawkins, for example. His passion is finding answers and he finds them and his work is impressive, but I find him unimaginative. He finds answers, much like the answer to a math equation; cold and abstract.

Evolution has already been proven so his campaign for adding to the mountain of evidence could be considered moot. Science, for me, sparks wild imagination. I am very much like the atheists I have come across with the exception that I believe in God. I think there might be a connection.

Laughing again? That's ok, it very well might be a ridiculous goal, but it keeps popping in my mind.

You're talking about a SCIENTIST, doing his JOB! Which is SCIENCE! You know him ONLY from his WORKING LIFE! You have no idea what he is like during off hours. What you're doing is as dumb as complaining that mathematicians are all emotionless, unimaginitive wasters because when they're doing maths equations they rely on cold hard logical accuracy.

Give the world a fucking break dude.

ALSO, Richard Dawkins is NOT a typical atheist because he is a famous scientist, most atheists are neither famous nor scientists.

    Move along.

Wow. Such inflammatory language! So shocking! Smacks of intolerance to me. I rest my case...

P.S. I don't really think that all professed atheists are like the above...
