    Depends on the reasons for the accusation. If you call someone stupid because they don't have a skill that you possess then it does make you intolerant.

    It makes you intolerant of what *YOU* define as stupidity or someone who is stupid. It CAN be a slippery slope. No?

    Atheists generalize about theists. Theists generalize about atheists. Both sides get mad at the other side for doing what they, themselves, do.

    *disclaimer - even this is a generalized statement, and I am well aware that not every theist or atheist generalizes, and then gets mad at the other side for doing the same thing *

    But that is happening on this thread.
