It was just a joke, I meant no disrespect.

Sab, nah I wouldn't have taken it as disrespect either way. Just would've been surprised IF you weren't joking. Generally surprised.

No, it was a genuine laugh.

    Evil cackles aren't genuine?

I'll take that as a compliment!

Non-believers are more like orbiting telescopes. -can focus more of their time on the unknown(without the error-correction that ground telescopes have to deal with)

But they exist in the cold blackness of outer space... not a nice place to be.

Believers are like the Voyager, LOST FOREVER! hahahaahhahahaha

I crack myself up. Yes that was a genuine laugh. I don't have an evil laugh, so when I do it's not genuine.

    sabastious,

Would you consider me an atheist after reading my belief on life, the universe, and everything? Which is:

The Bible is a collection of lies, halftruths, and fables put together by men for their own ulterior motives.

The "God" described in the Bible does not exist.

Before the physical universe came into being, there was an energy universe. Someone (something) caused the phyiscal universe to exist. We do not know what this being (thing) was, I call it the First Cause. The First Cause does not interact with human beings. Perhaps it cannot do so. Or, perhaps we are to it what viruses are to us.

So, sabastious, am I an atheist?

No, if you believe the First Cause is a form of intelligence; Yes, if you do not.

    @lifeisgood,

IMHO, you sound more agnostic or deist to me... IF you believe that the first cause is intelligent (like Sab said)...

Well I'll add that if you believe that we were created by a form of intelligence you are not an atheist. The answer isn't actually directly linked with the First Cause. Just because a being has the power to cause humans doesn't automatically make it the First Cause.

I have no idea if the First Cause is intelligent or not. Perhaps that concept has no meaning for it. I mean, it is completely different from anything we can imagine, being that it exists outside of our universe.

Also, I don't know if the First Cause created humans or if we evolved or if a rock hit a gas pocket which caroomed into a lake somewhere and then "poof" out popped human beings. I have no idea.

No one else has any idea either on any of these things.
