  I back down. It stops with me.

  The 'moderator' can behave any way they want because they make the rules.

  I doubt i will get my thread back. the situation has been dismissed with an 'i am going to bed'.

  The moderator publicly cast shame on me and i felt a right to publicly reply. Apparently not.

  I am on several forums and have had threads removed (this was never about the locked thread) before, but always the mods give an email or Pm explanation, perhaps it is time for mods here to be a little more real. Perhaps they do not have to explain, but it would sure do them a power of good in our eyes if they did.

  We should not have to fight for freedom of speech here. My remaining thoughts on this situation will go unsaid because to be honest this time they are against rule 11.

  I shall have to be more careful about not upsetting the delicate ones in future.

  To all those who wish me to stay, thankyou so very much.

  I do not wish to talk about this anymore as it makes me angry. I sincerely hope this post is not seen as violating rule 11 either.

  couple of points;

  this forum is far from being a Christian outreach style of place, there are people of all sorts here,and myself not subscribing to any form of evangelical worship whatsoever the folks who regularly post here who like that particular form of worship really dont bother me, secondly I believe it was harsh to lock Aussies thread and delete his secondary thread, the so called attack on Shelby was really non existent there have been attacks on posters many times worse, if any thing is was a bit of friendly banter, I think Shelby is the last person people would want to throw insults to whatever we think of her religious views, c'mon LL lets have his threads back!

  Be a shame to leave it serves only to titillate the ego of the mod gone wrong.

  This happened to me with a mod from our own country ,he is just a fruit loop to me ,cut out my posts etc and yet when I queried by PM why I then got the picture he was mis understanding my public comments completely ,and when I tried to explain my true meaning he balked at it all.

  He is egocentric to me and probably a little mentally challenged so let him be I eventually thought ....but it does get up your nose does'nt it?

  I've read text here with bad swearing and thought that this seems acceptable at times and yet my meagre comments were not lewd and yet they were judged and in turn by my topic being taken off. it seemed to me that I was being treated like a little boy .

  Why one guy in America ,well known , got banned for hosing down some pesky JW's who came to his door ,should have seen the mods perform then....but hey most of are still here even though the mods are being the GB all over again.

  don't leave on account of Shelby - speaking as an atheist, I too have come to view her as an intelligent and sensitive poet. She is right on the money in her argumentation and is humble enough to admit when she is wrong. I took umbrage at her in the past because, in doing my big sis act, I thought she was misleading the newbies - I have since found that the newbies can and do think for themselves. No need for big sisters to get all fluffed up. (My apologies to(((Shelby))).

  As to Shelby's language - all the great auditory poets repeated themselves - this is a memory aid and an aid to divine inspiration.

  Well . . . I think this is just great . . .

  Oz aint goin anywhere, the mod's have been duly reprimanded, and lot's of people have said some really nice things . . . B****y fantastic (can I say that?).

  Freedom of speech has been restored (maybe enhanced even) ... we have learned something ... and a new day awaits
