I pity people who can't see the beauty in creation. They can't see what their missing out on. Let them sulk and be miserable.
dude, I really hope you're being sarcastic...if not, you have an extremely sick view of the world.

Amen Poopsie -
How can any body not resond to the beauty around them - no matter what its source?
Okay you know a Big Mac and Fries will clog you up, but its still tasty.
Okay you know a religious explanation will clog you up, but its still happy.

John i. 3.All things became by Him and without Him came nothing into being.
Whether a person agrees in the belief system contained within the Old and New Testaments ... it IS fascinating to stop and to think that every argument you can think of has been answered in this small book.
How can anyone get a creation independent of the Father out of that statement?
Such are the notions which men put forward in regard to the making of the universe and of creation of all things, various opinions, and each propounded by a theory that best suits the taste of that person:
1. Epicureanism
2. Platonism
3. Gnosticism
But the impiety of this talk is declared plainly by "A book" written long before them ... it declares that there IS a Mind behind the universe, and it did not originate itself; it declares that this finite matter was not made from pre-existant matter but out of nothing and out of non-existence absolute and utter God brought into being through The Word.
That fascinates me ... science can only reveal what is finite but it can never reveal the mechanisations of the infinite.

Thanks ixthis, so Creationism teaches that EVERYTHING came from NOTHING and Big Bang states EVERYTHING came from EVERYTHING. Exactly as I said before.
I will make a small note that other books pre-date the bible that state there is a mind behind the universe.
Hi Tuesday, I am not speaking as a "Creationist", I wanted to point that out.
poopsiecakes, are you old enough to understand what I meant?

Ironically, much of the beauty of nature could never have been seen without science to provide the tools to observe that beauty.
For example, it is impossible to see distant galxies, nebula, or star clusters by gazing up into the sky with your naked eye. We only see a tiny portion of the milky way with our eyes. To really explore the universe, you need telescopes - which requires an understanding of optics and the physics of light (science).
If not for science, religious people would literally miss-out on seeing the universe. Our primitive vision forbids us from seeing so many things.
Beyond that, thanks to science and technology, we have high-definition digital cameras that can capture nature's beauty, and preserve it. All of the beautiful pictures above would not exist if not for science and technology.
Sulk and be miserable? The beauty of nature is that it extends beyond what we see at first glance. There is beauty in that the deeper you look, the more you find. I think it's religious folk who miss out on the beauty. Too eager to shrug off everything they don't immediately understand with a shrug as "a mystery of god", instead of taking a real look.
Religious folk are content to look at the stars. It was science that showed us the infinate beauty in it.

Back from my meeting,
Tuesday,
I think the point of the bible is that EVERYTHING came from SOMETHING - That something IS God.
Hint of Lime,
If not for science, religious people would literally miss-out on seeing the universe. Our primitive vision forbids us from seeing so many things.
This is not true. There are many Saints who, through a purified life and abundant love for God and man, were given the gift of seeing things that would be virtually impossible for others.
One such Saint was Elder Porfyrios
"Energy can be neither created nor destroyed. It can only change forms."
So first of all the universe (the collection of matter and energy) has always been here, it can not be created nor destroyed, it can only change forms which explains the Big Bang. We're only living in one instance of this Big Bang and a lot of people don't understand that according to the laws of thermodynamics there have been and will be an infinite number of Big Bangs before and after this one but it really doesn't matter because we can't look into time before our Big Bang or after it so we don't consider it (the timeline for us actually started with the Big Bang, the current timeline did not exist before that to go to or see evidence off). Proof of the big bang is the decaying of elements, the eventuality of thermal equilibrium (universe's heat death), background radiation, expansion of the universe etc. (there is a LOT of theoretical physics and observations behind it each one spanning one or more individual fields of research in itself).
Read Einstein for a change and try to understand it (I think all of his books are free for download).
If you want to claim God exists as a physical person and has always been here even before the creation of our Universe, he has to be the Universe and all of us for it to exist since those fundamental laws of physics cannot be broken.
