SURVEY: Is a JWN members post count a reasonable indicator of their theist/atheist position? If so what can be learned from that?

I am with BS (Chris) in saying I am No.3 with no onus on me to prove anything.

    Hi

Since I came on here 10mths ago, I could check off all three categories (and then some) ... almost daily.

Bit of a merry-go-round really. One of these days I hope to jump off and walk away without staggering! lol

AND if God does exist he doesn't have any connection with the WTBTS

#3 with the proviso that if there actually IS a thing
that could qualify as a god it wouldnt be as limited
narrow or ineffective as the things that get called
god on this planet... or anything AT ALL like what
    we call a god...

I'm a new #3. My posts (or lack thereof) have nothing to do with it. I've always been more of a listener than a talker.

I do, however, lend support for your idea that sites like JWN help a person get to #3. I've only been on for a few months. I had a lot of questions when I joined. This site provides so much information, links, and books. It has helped me to answer a lot of my questions.

I must be an anomoly like AGUEST. I have clearly preached that the moon is ast in the 7th house and all that is left is for Jupitor to align w/ Mars and we will fully enter the age of Aquarius. I also believe the Flying Spaghetti Monster sold Brooklyn Bridge to Fred Franz.

So sorry about the above, I just can't see much of a correlation. Maybe believers spend less time here because they are at church and seeking answers in their Bible.

When I first joined I was in group number 1 (also a questioning dub at the time).

Then it didn't take me long to join group number 2.

Now I am definitely in group number 3.

    What Flipper said...

I think that you've over-simplified the situation, Nicolau.

One would need to go into each person's posts and determine how many of their posts were on the subject of religion versus atheism.

People who post here, tend to respond to a wide variety of threads - sympathy, humor, Watchtower doctrine, etc.

Perhaps a better determinant would be, who posts a greater number of times on the 'theocratic' threads versus who posts [a greater number of times] on the 'atheist' threads...
