    Terry,

The problem with getting into subjects like this is that we are working with limited information. We live to be 80 years old and we try to make sense of issues that have thousands of years of unknown information, not even taking into account that we do not live in the spirit realm and are not privy to thousands upon thousands of years of conversations that have taken place there.

    Grace is Injustice.

    There! Simple enough for you?

    Grace is Injustice.

Only if by grace you mean a "get out of jail free" card and it is most certainly NOT that.

Grace if God's love given freely, nothing is asked of us for God to GIVE Us His grace, It's already been done for us buy Christ.

It does NOT mean that one doesn't pay for ones transgressions.

I don't know where you find in the bible or any of the writings of Christians that Grace makes one exempt from justice.

Honest question: If Grace is given freely and it is God's love, WHO NEEDED TO ALLOW Jesus (sweet, wonderful, meek Jesus) to be tortured to death?

Was it the same God? How does this make sense? Why did this presumably loving God/Father need for this to take place? Who or what was He satisfying in the grand scheme of things? HE IS IN CHARGE!

God didn't need for it to take place, WE needed it, it was for US, not for God.

In short, Jesus led BY EXAMPLE, the life we are to lead, able to lead, when God is with Us, to the very point of giving his life for us because he loved Us.

It was and always has been, about Us.

Who is "we"? I don't need for a sweet, lovable, kind, wonderful Jesus to be given up for capital punishment consisting of scourging and crucifixion.

I want to know why a loving God and Father allowed it.

Nero let the crowd have public arena battles of gladiators, executions of criminals, feeding people to lions, etc. Are you saying God and Nero let the people have their entertainment?

    Terry,

The problem with getting into subjects like this is that we are working with limited information.

Is that our fault or is the fault of Scripture?

Word of mouth Jesus stories went on for quite awhile before anybody wrote anything down.

Even that was allowed to corrupt into dust or ashes.

There are no original writings anywhere for anybody to see, read and understand.

We are assured that copies of copies were made and those are as accurate as we need.

But, that is clearly man assuring man. It is an unprovable.

All we have to go on is tiny bits and pieces of, virtually, dumpster diver retrieval pieced together and interpreted by disagreeing theologians.

Should any of us base our lives on this (holy)garbage? Should we pretend somebody KNOWs something?

No, you don't, neither do I, WE do.

WE needed that example of love and sacrfice in a time where there wasn't any.

I want to know why a loving God and Father allowed it.

    Out of love for US.

Honestly, if you can't see the difference...well...I know you will enough ( I hope), that I know that oyu do see the difference.

    But to tackle your question:

Nero appleased the Mob by giving them soemthing to distract from their everyday crap.

God's Son took, unto himself, the very real existence of US and showed Us, what we can do, what we can overcome and how we can forgive, when God is with Us.

Nero entertained, God offered us eternal Life.

Clearly I'm not making my question understandable. Let me try another way.

Why wasn't it within God's power and imagination for any OTHER way to forgive man?

Why not assemble all the nations of the earth and take a vote, for example?

"Who wants to be friends with me (God)??
