Do you have an explanation, TMS?
No, teejay, I have no explanations anymore, just observations.
A seemingly sane JW sister once sought help in removing an entity who was sexually assaulting her. My instinct was that she was not making the story up.
My wife's experiences occurred primarily before her baptism. She was encouraged to call audibly on the name of Jehovah. That seemed to work initially and then she began to experience a sort of paralysis and was unable to move her lips.
Of course, these experiences took place in an area noted for such things. You may recall a few years ago the University of Texas student who was lured by a beautiful hispanic woman to a satanic ritual in Matamoros, where his body was offered in sacrifice. This is the area I'm referencing.

Hello Nemesis, you said...
I am now getting entities more and more, and other strange stuff, not evil, or even frightening, just strange, and obviously gaining in power.
How do any of you who have had these experiences [and I’m 101% sure they are not some psychological trauma/stress phenomenon, but real entities],
how do you deal with that, and what category do you put them in, with regard to the knowledge that God is not with the Watchtower society?
I would like to know of others experiences if any have had some, and educated opinions on the subject also.
You are experiencing demonic oppression[not obsession]. I UNDERSTAND COMPLETELY, and I can explain to you about what you are dealing with, and I can help you.

And if that doesn't help, check in with the Pope;
=====================================================
Pope Has Performed 3 Exorcisms to Ward Off DevilFebruary 18, 2002 10:36 pm EST
VATICAN CITY (Reuters) - Pope John Paul has performed three exorcisms during his 23-year pontificate, including one as recently as September, one of the Catholic Church's leading exorcists said.
Father Gabriele Amorth told Italy's La Stampa newspaper that the Pope had carried out his first exorcism in 1982."This girl was rolling around on the ground. People in the Vatican had never seen anything like it. For us exorcists it is run of the mill," Amorth said on Monday.
The Pope has since taken part in two more exorcisms, including that of a 20-year-old woman in September, to underline the importance of the ceremony.
"He carried out these exorcisms because he wanted to give a powerful example. He wanted to give the message that we must once again start exorcising those who are possessed by demons," Amorth said.
For Roman Catholics, exorcism is the casting out of what is believed to be an evil spirit through prayer and the laying on of hands. Amorth said possession by demons took many shapes.
"I have seen many strange things...objects such as nails spat out. The devil told a woman that he would make her spit out a transistor radio and lo and behold she started spitting out bits and pieces of a radio transistor," he said.
"I have seen levitations, and a force that needed six or eight men to hold the person still. Such things are rare, but they happen," he said.
Amorth said the woman whom the Pope exorcised in September was still undergoing treatment.
"It's a very serious case. A series of curses," he said.
The interview was published a day after the Pope warned of the daily temptations of the devil during his Sunday address.
"The devil, the 'prince of this world', even today continues his insidious actions. Each and every man...is tempted by the devil when he least expects it," the Pope said.
The official Roman Catholic exorcism starts with prayers, the blessing and sprinkling of holy water, the laying of hands on the possessed, and the making of the sign of the cross.
It ends with the priest commanding the devil to leave the possessed person

Let me set a few things straight Thomas, and others. I most certainly do not feel oppressed by demons. And not controlled or harassed by any entities. I do have some strange or weird experiences, but will not classify them instantly as demonic as I do not know that—and breaking free from the JW mindset—I really do not wish to go back to such unfounded dogmatism.
One point that has amused me over the years when I was a JW was the contradiction of doctrine in regard to spirits/entities, and “superior authorities”. All here who were JWs are well aware of their teachings as the “respect for superior authorities”, but I notice that they teach Satan rules the world, and below his hierarchy are the demonic princes in their set order. If we are to give respect to human rulers, regardless of how corrupt, inept or self-seeking; then why does the Watch Tower Society not teach the same for Satan and the fallen angels? If they are as the Watch Tower teaches—then they are there because God has allowed them to rule, and so are due their “respect” also.
For example: If you are a good person, kind, helpful etc. maybe not a saint, but all the same a good human in general terms. How would you react of some stranger went to your best friend and told them that you were a child molester, psychopath, evil sick monster, and only out to deceive, destroy and ruin the lives of others? All the charges by the stranger were false, but your good friend started to listen to them. How would you feel about this stranger? I’m sure most here would like to punch their lights out, if not hospitalise them for their wicked slander. Any yet this is exactly what the Watch Tower Society does in regard to any contact by any kind of entity. All my life I have found spirits to be just like people, some intelligent, some kind, some parasites, and some downright evil. We see just the same in human society, but how would the householder respond when you called on their door you said they were a “child molester, psychopath, evil sick monster, and only out to deceive, destroy and ruin the lives of others”?
I’m sure the householder would give you a big punch in the face, so is it any wonder, a kind, or average sprit that may be around someone, turns angry after the JWs arrive? This does not prove that this entity is some demon, but says far more about the instant slander from the Watch Tower as to the entity’s motives and character. The Watch Tower Society would dare not call a president, prime minister, or King or Queen such slanderous names, as they would soon find their organisation crumbling before them for such propagandistic slander and defamation of character. And yet, the Watch Tower does it all the time to Satan and all other discernable entities. So much for “respecting the superior authorities”! Have they never heard of ‘reaping what you sow’? Does anyone good like to have his or her personal name slandered? The Watch Tower seem to actually encourage the attraction and angering spirits as yet another false premise for saying: “Oh look, we are a persecuted people, therefore this proves that God is with us.”
In summary: I do believe there are good, bad, and indifferent spirits out there just like humans. I cannot—and will not class them in any group lump, as that would be no different from doing it to humans before they have proved what they are, and would certainly not be Christian either. I do feel God will protect me from any lower entities, and I also protect my own mind from such disruptive entities/energies. I hope in the future all will be clearer, but I do not fear them at all.

Nem, you're just ignorant about your experiences, that's all. What I'm hearing is a bunch of self-pride that gives you denial and a rebellious attitude against someone who can help you.
I don't give a rip about what you think or feel with all that pride I'm hearing. Rationalize it all you want to and call it what you like, but you got the demons on you fella.
Yes, I can see the doctor now. Well, son why don't we just admit that you're schizoid and take a little medicine and you can calm down. Hey, you eat veggies, right? Well now you have a chance to be one.
However, you now know where to get help and what books to read that explain it.If you want to be dumb about it, it's your life. It's called spiritual warfare, and you have not an inkling of what you are experiencing.
Hey you got all the dumb responses here that anyone could want. So, select one that suits your vanity and attitude. Some people are stupid and proud of it. Some people don't know and don't care that they don't know. Pride is real killer, fella.

Well thank you for your insulting, slanderous, patronising and arrogant critique Thomas. You appear to be highly unbalanced seeing as you don’t know me from Adam, and seem to classify yourself as the universal expert on all matters spiritual, and appear to be seeing yourself as a personal Jesus Christ.
Maybe you should concern yourself on cultivating some of the fruits of the Holy Spirit, like: Love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faith, mildness, and self-control. Did not Jesus say “by their fruits you will know them”? I suggest you take a look at the manner and way you relate to others, using insolence and arrogance will not accrue you any respect, or credibility Thomas, and adding insults when you don’t get the response that you seem to so desperately desire will not gain you any import either. Calling me a barrage of insults, rhetoric, and trite patronizing one-liners will only show your true nature Thomas. You need to review your “attitude” and learn to respect others regardless of their differing opinions and views; using terminology and hate like you have will not get you any credibility at all in life:
“just ignorant...bunch of self-pride...gives you denial...rebellious attitude...don't give a rip about what you think or feel...pride I'm hearing...you got the demons on you...you want to be dumb...you have not an inkling of what you are experiencing...you got all the dumb responses...your vanity and attitude...stupid and proud of it...”
PS. When you use a quote, make sure it’s actually a quote, not a pseudo-quote from your imagination like you have just posted.
PPS. Please don’t respond to any of my posts again. You will just be viewed as a trouble-making troll from now on. I do not wish to waste my time—and board space—with someone with such fanatical and intolerant views as yourself. Have you ever thought of getting a job at bethel? I’m sure you would fit in nicely.

Hi Nemesis,
I agree with what SusanHere said:
When it comes to spirits, visions, etc. it is a very simple matter. Those who have had them, believe in them. Those who haven't, usually mock those who say they have.
I don't mean that to be insulting to those who are "mocking" so to speak. But it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that it is hard for one who has never experienced any of these "things" to just believe in them...I have had some unexplainable and strange experiences and even I question the reality (?) of it.My experience is similar to that of someone else who posted (although I can't remember who). As a child, a very small child, I had terrifying dreams and never any "evil" influence to cause them. They were just there. I, also, had dreams from which I could not wake. What I mean is...I would open my eyes (couldn't see anything but what I was dreaming) and sit up in my bed and shake myself senseless, trying to rouse myself back into a conscious state. This eventually subsided and I have only experienced it maybe three times since I've became an adult (I'm 30). I recently spoke with someone about this once and he suggested that I research OBEs and astral projection. Many of the symptoms mentioned at various websites were some which I had experienced (severe jerking when waking, body parts numb, not being able to wake myself). It might be something you would want to check out.
Personally, I don't really know what I make of it all. Not everything can be explained, you know?

Nemesis, I really feel bad to see good people mauled when they open themselves up on this board.
Maybe you should concern yourself on cultivating some of the fruits of the Holy Spirit, like: Love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faith, mildness, and self-control. Did not Jesus say “by their fruits you will know them”?
Excellent quote, but with all due respect for your obvious desire to see the best in others, sometimes you have to recall Jehovah's wisdom that warns good people not to throw their pearls before swine. It even tells us why not, by warning that if we do, they will turn on us and rip us open. Those with an abundance of pearls and a heart willing to share should save those pearls for those who truly appreciate our contribution in posting. I appreciate your contribution as surely do many other fine people who are in the majority. Don't let the minority swine inflict lasting damage to you spiritually.Derrick

Sadie,
As a child, a very small child, I had terrifying dreams and never any "evil" influence to cause them.
Nothing unusual here. Nightmares are quite common with children. No need to resort to the supernatural to explain this.I, also, had dreams from which I could not wake. What I mean is...I would open my eyes (couldn't see anything but what I was dreaming) and sit up in my bed and shake myself senseless, trying to rouse myself back into a conscious state
Still nothing strange here. At worst you may have had some type of sleeping disorder.I recently spoke with someone about this once and he suggested that I research OBEs and astral projection. Many of the symptoms mentioned at various websites were some which I had experienced (severe jerking when waking, body parts numb, not being able to wake myself). It might be something you would want to check out.
Your friend should have suggested you go to a doctor if this is affecting your life. There is no evidence that there is anything supernatural about OBE's or the type of sleep behavior you are describing. Not everything can be explained, you know?
Not everything, but that doesn't mean that everything is a mystery either. There is a lot of factual evidence and a lot of pseudoscience out there. The trick is learning to discriminate between the two. It's all about requiring a higher standard of evidence before you put your belief in claims.rem
