1. Teary doesn't claim to be a JW.
2. He has no real need to count time.
3. He doesn't have any worries about disfellowshipping (why would he?).
4. At least Teary is actually HONEST in the things he undertakes, unlike many of the posters here.

Then why did the poster called Teary claim on another thread just minutes ago that "the elders were aware that he used the pen-name Oberon" and "that they had no problem with it because it was explained to be not pagan in origin"?
I dunno. Why did you deliberately misquote Teary? Is your dishonesty seeping through to other things now too?
"Quite a few elders have known that Teary uses the pen name "Oberon." But they really couldn't have cared less about it, because Teary told them the ACTUAL origin of it (which is not pagan at all)."
Yes, Teary has known quite a few Witness elders over the years; but just discussing Teary's writing work and the origins of his name with JW elders doesn't mean that Teary is currently a Witness himself. Again, use those critical thinking skills.
10 years pioneering at 90 hours/month - the last couple of years I counted time through my coffee break - but always begged Jehovah's forgiveness. I always felt guilty counting break time.

Whatever kind of work you engage yourself in, you should always strive to do it honestly and in the way that you have led people to believe that you are doing it. If your conscience bothers you about break time, then perhaps you should have just listened to it, or at the very least asked about it.
Most pioneers Teary knew just maintained the general principle: 10-15 minute break is fine, but longer than that and you should probably stop your time.
I was told I was too technical in the way I counted my time. I remember it would often happen that I had less time than my partner for the day. I came off the pioneer list when I got pregnant, my husband insisted I become more more concerened with the pregnancy than my time. I never got back on the list because I found it too hard to balance everything. If I counted the way the other pioneers did I may have had an easier time.
I haven't been as active here is Teary always like this?
Is Teary always like what? Straight forward and out-spoken?
Magwitch: Don't feel bad about counting your break time. Some Circuit Overseers do it. I told by two CO's to count mine. Jehovah understands, and allows breaks.
Teary: I wouldn't want to work for you, or even work with you out in service. If someone asked me to include you in my car group, I would just find an excuse not to include you. But, you don't do FS, according to your posts. Why do you judge workers, when you don't work?
"Why do you judge workers, when you don't work?"
Because many of them admit to being dishonest liars that give out intentionally and grossly false and exagerated descriptions of their activity?
These ones that do this are probably frustrated at working in an activity that probably is being overworked to death. They are probably tired of finding people unresponsive, or not at home. Out in the rain, snow, heat, cold. No Armaggedon in sight, no thanks, just see you next week, over, and over again. No leadership, no encouragement, no let up. They are burned out.
The point is....Jehovah, doesn't count time the way man does. Yes, he knows how many hairs on our head. He knows our hearts. He knows us personally, and He knows our limitations.
When the load is too heavy, the workers will loaf.
