All I wanted was some lovely freshly cooked brussell sprouts....
Brussels sprouts are quite tasty with a little butter drizzled over them.
My mom made me eat beets as a kid. They can taste good if prepared correctly( pickled is not bad).
Another thing I grew up eating is pig brains. They are tasty mixed with scrambled eggs.
No worries, BP: next time you're in town stop by and I'll make a batch just for you!
