Its a year on now from my operation and I have been feeling fit and strong for a long time.

The week before last I had a routine CT scan to make sure it hadn't spread. I got a call from the cancer nurse this morning to say there may be a problem.

There is a small spot on one of my lungs she called an "infiltrate". Apparently its too small to be sure yet if its the beginning of a secondary tumour or just some random thing.

The plan is to wait until August and repeat the scan to see if it has changed, so I get to spend the summer trying not to panic every time I cough. F###!

I think I will get that letter written, I feel the need to share a few home truths...
