A DAUGHTER
Daughters are precious, in so many ways,
From the day of their birth, till the end of your days.
You show them and teach tem, and try your best,
So as they grow older, they can stand the tests.
You admire their accomplishments & sometime you boast,
Not that they're perfect, but for giving their most.
When they know they've pleased you, & you see that smile,
The trying and caring, makes it all seem worthwhile.
Then they become wives, and leave home and you two,
But present you with grandkids, and it all starts anew.
You pray for their future, and give it you all,
That from Jehovah's favor, they never will fall.
You hope they'll find happiness, and pray it will last,
Because this system is ending, and it's coming fast.
Please God! Protect her, and help her get through,
Because daughters like ours, are seldom and few.

So sick of the pious attitude.
