Hi elderelite, thanks for that suggestion. It's a bit late to be tampering with the survey now that it is launched, because in doing so we are undermining the validity of the figures. However, I will gladly add your "born in" suggestion to the list of amendments for the 2013 survey.
I appreciate your idea. One of the great things about having this survey thread on the forum is receiving feedback such as yours that will improve future surveys.

Just finished your survey. Also did the one last year. This year you did not ask about " born in " like you did last year. I put I was a unbaptized JW for 16 years. Since I put I was a JW for 16 years it could be a bit confusing, because I had no chose in the matter. Thanks for all your effort !

Participating is an ego boost. It was fun. Aren't you surveying the choir? So far the results are almost uniformly in one direction. I never realized how many specific doctrines I disagreed with the Witnesses. No one here is tepid about the Witnesses.
I also had a problem answering the question about WTS reform. There was not an option to say it should not be reformed because it should be destroyed. Or at least an option to say it is too bad to fix.

I selected the Christian part...but I wasn't crazy about the "born again" thing, it reminds me of Bible-thumping fire and brimstone fundamentalists. My heart leans from non-denominational Christian moderate, heavily leaning toward the idea of universal salvation.
