This is weird?! I just came accross this on Mr Unthank's personal site:

I recently read something where the WTS is, let's just say connected, to various institutions/companies to wield/get their way.....is this one or just coincidence?

PERSONAL MESSAGE FROM STEVEN UNTHANK
January 28, 2012
PLEASE NOTE:
To all my family and friends,
DO NOT DEPOSIT MONIES into either my WESTPAC BANK Account 733-138 67-3513 (I use the Traralgon Branch) or my PayPal account as these have both been arbitrarily frozen.
The branch manager at my local Traralgon Branch of Westpac Bank has personally notified me that my account has been frozen. He was unable to provide a reason but was quite concerned over the frozen account. However, the account remains frozen and I got the impression that they may no longer wish to do business with me.
Further PayPal has made a sudden decision to shut down my account and freeze my funds and have refused to provide me with a valid reason as to why. They have also stated that they no longer wish to do business with me as well.
These are the two message I received from PayPal:

Dear Steven Unthank,
We have reviewed your PayPal Account, and due to the excessive risk involved, we would like to begin parting ways in a manner that is least disruptive to your business.
…Money in your PayPal account will be held for 180 days. After 180 days, we’ll email you information on how to receive your funds.
We regret any inconvenience this may cause…

——–Permanent account closure ——–
Dear Steven Unthank, We’re sorry to let you know that the use of your account is not in accordance with the terms and conditions of our User Agreement. As a result, we’ve limited access to and will be closing your PayPal account.
…What does this mean?
You will no longer be able to use PayPal’s services to send or receive payments with this account or your other accounts which have been closed. However, you can still log in to view your transaction history.
You will also be unable to open further PayPal accounts as we are unable to provide future services to you.
PayPal Australia Pty Limited ABN 93 111 195 389 (AFSL 304962).
Simply put, Westpac Bank and PayPal have arbitrarily frozen my accounts and neither have been able to cite any breach or violation of any of their policies or of any agreement I have entered into in relation to my accounts. Further, neither have been able to cite or provide evidence of any terms and conditions of any User Agreement that I may have breached in relation to my account. Finally, PayPal has also falsely accused me of operating additional accounts but, as to date, have been unable to provide any evidence of any alleged multiple accounts, simply because I have only ever had the one account.
The following firm non-negotiable message was also posted on my PayPal account statement page after I logged in via the internet:
We’ve limited access to and will be closing your PayPal account.
This limitation cannot be appealed against.
Is the arbitrary freezing of my accounts and monies a problem? Yes as I had a certain amount of money within my accounts that I had allocated for the criminal prosecution of the Governing Body of Jehovah’s Witnesses, and the Christian Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses, and the “faithful and discreet slave”, and the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society of Pennsylvania, and the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society of Australia.
I now have no access to my money and, at the present time, no access to any of my accounts.
Nevertheless I will NOT back down in standing up for child protection or in bending the knee to help a child.

I do have my money back from Westpac Bank. It was not much money but it was put aside for my court cases. A local Westpac bank customer from my local Toongabbie village, who has a “substantial” investment with the bank, took the bank to task over their treatment of me and asked to shut down all their accounts. We both went in together to discuss the matter. Good to have back-up. The branch manager was most shocked as he would have to write-up a report for the loss of ‘this’ customer. To his credit (no pun intended) the bank manager temporarily overrode the freeze and returned my money. The account is now frozen again. There appears to be more than meets the eye. So far I am happy with the way Westpac has resolved the matter. Very quick!
PayPal refuses to release my money as they are claiming they may need to refund eBay customers who have purchased items off me with their PayPal accounts. Funny thing is that I do not have anything for sale on eBay and neither have I sold anything and they did not cite any eBay issues in their initial reason for freezing my account. This I brought up with them. The result…
PayPal is now refusing to release my money as they are now claiming they may need to meet credit card charge-backs in relation to credit card purchases via my PayPal account. Funny thing is that I do not have a credit card and as such have never purchased anything with a credit card via PayPal or eBay. PayPal did not cite any credit card issues for their initial reason for freezing my account but cited it as the fifth reason after I sorted out the first four ‘bogus’ reasons. They too can find no credit card usage.
I have now fully cooperated with PayPal and worked through 5 different reasons for shutting down my account, one-after-the-other. Each time the reason for freezing my account was sorted out my account was immediately frozen again and another reason was cited…which brought the whole process up to 5 ‘disputes’ plus the final.
In the end PayPal informed me that they will not unfreeze my account nor deal with me anymore until I rectify the ‘dispute’ with the person who lodge the ‘dispute’. The person who lodged the ‘dispute’ turned out to be none other than PayPal. When I brought this to their attention they sent me an email rejecting my “appeal” and stating they have closed my account and no longer wish to do business. This means the dispute was not a third party dispute. Following that they “closed my dispute” which means they locked it and will no longer deal with me.
As a final point, PayPal have drawn my attention to their ”Terms of Service” (ToS) in where they disclose to you that PayPal can close your account for any reason what-so-ever, or no reason what-so-ever.
My personal thoughts on the matter are that if it was a computer monitoring program to protect against fraud that put the stop on my account then the computer would have cited multiple reasons for freezing the account, and not one-by-one after each ‘dispute’ was resolved. If you resolve a potential issue that a computer alerts everyone to then once it is resolved the computer does not go looking for another reason for shutting down your account. This can only be done by human manual override.
PayPal is now claiming the “no reason what-so-ever” for shutting down my account and freezing my money. It is not possible to call them to discuss the problem as they no longer view me as a customer and the ‘Help Line’ and ‘Contact Us’ telephone number is only for customers.
As someone recently told me:
“All it takes is one person who works at PayPal who has marked you as part of their personal religious conviction and they can shut down your account based on solely wanting to disrupt you and hinder you in whatever you are doing. It’s that simple.”
