Badgering NDrew? You come onto an atheist thread, I show enough respect to debate a point within your context (I could have simply dismissed everything, said maybe Jesus was historical, but he was nothing special), and you call that badgering? Would you rather I argue my point in my own context? Think about your words NDrew. I'm hanging in a thread that discusses something that resonates with me---the idea that religious people accuse us of throwing the baby/water thing. Now I am trying to show why I don't feel that is true. Perhaps you could stop 'badgering' me with your religiosity. It's not what I want, because I like for you to voice your opinions, but hey, we should at least play by the same rules.

You can interpret it all you like but someone else will interpret it differently, or not at all - like people who hear the voices 'kill your parents' or 'kill your children' and they'd be justified in saying 'it's what Jesus said in the bible'.
