What about husbands who take more than one wife such as Solomon who married unbeliever(s). Does that not make him "disobedient to God"? Therefore, taking the logic once step further, his prayers would be in vain and his future so called blessings at risk would they not? Yet how often is this man lauded in the WT?
As to sexual intimacy the GB have no clue because they have no idea what that means. What about a husband that cannot achive an erection due to advancing age? Should he be precluded from loving his wife and making love to his deeply cherished wife in ways that she feels fulfilled sexually? What about a wife being able to love her husband in ways that perhaps normal vaginal intercourse is too difficult or painful for her?
BTW: my wife is more loveable now sexually, we get along better and she has a better frame of mind given we no longer ascribe to the teachings of these malevolent, misogyist (thanks for the remeinder Diana) men.

The wording seems so ackward. From my limited experience, I think tenderness and affection are best expressed outside the bedroom in a myriad different ways. Once that emotional bond is established and the activities move inside the bedroom, enthusiasm and athleticism really take care of the physical needs. And just like pots, pans, and utensils are useful for cooking in the kitchen, tools and appliances are useful for cooking up some fun in the bedroom... so I hear .
They make it sound like sex should be mostly bland and boring. And it's just weird the way they remind you that Jehovah is watching. What a pervert! Jehovah watches us in the bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, or anywhere else people decide to do it? Yet it's wrong for people to look at porn? God sounds like the ultimate porn addict!

My marriage has been blessed mightily not by God, but been blessed by my wife and myself these last 6 years ! We appreciate OUR marriage ! LOL ! And the part about a wife being " lovable " ? What about a husband ? How can a wife love a husband if he keeps dominating her in a patriarchal fashion by being her " head " and controlling her like JW men are admonished to do ?
