I will say - er, admit - this....
I tend to watch TV while I'm posting - and having something like "Pirates of the Caribbean" on, in the background, tends to make me a bit bloodthirsty...
I mean... With Jack Sparrow calling Will Turner a "pestilent, yeasty codpiece" in the background, doesn't quite inspire a "Marquis of Queensbury rules" attitude in me...

Here is a suggestion - ad keep in mind, this is HARSH, but...
When I had my thoroughly nasty two-and-a-half-month-long cold, I gargled with hot/warm water with:
Fresh Garlic - diced...
Garlic Salt
Cayenne Pepper
Now you SERIOUSLY have to be careful, gargling with that stuff - and start out with really LOW levels of cayenne pepper powder, but...
When I had a sore throat and laryngitis to end all laryngitis, that was what it took to break up the cold...
Oh, and a good laughing sesson later on, after the congestion had mostly gone... I reccomend "World's Dumbest", to start wth...

Oh, and use eucalyptus oil - on a tissue - if you can breathe that aroma without choking - to help clear the sinuses...

LOL ziddina, you're a riot. It helps me realize that at least some ex-dubs have a sense of humor. Most are ALMOST as bad as clerical Scientologists! (NOT the rich members, the office workers).

BTW - off topic... I just disfellowshipped Zen's new dog at my beach hut. My 4 roommates noticed crap and pee in the living room. I had no choice. Didn't need no damned committee. :-))
