Two observations regarding accuracy:

Treyvon attacked Zimmerman.

No. I have no feeling about Zimmerman to begin with - I am content that a trial will take place and he will have an opportunity to defend himself.
I think it is rather sad that the far right wants him exonerated, while the far left wants him convicted.
I suspect that the truth lies somewhere in between.
I think that the emotions here are more about political issues than about the case at hand.
I hope the judge and jury can actually deliver justice in a non-biased way.
The audio manipulation bothers me much more than any claim that they tried to hide that Zimmerman is Mexican
Just to set the record straight he's not Mexican. His mother his Peruvian. If you want a fun time with racial debates go into a room full of Cubans or Columbians or better yet Spaniards and call them Mexicans. You can let us know if you get out alive.
You have a concealed carry handgun permit- at what point did the handgun come out? I don't envision Zimmerman pulling the gun and then getting into a scuffle - no, he has the gun and it stays hidden. Would someone who was unarmed (Treyvon) attack a guy pointing a gun at him? I doubt it. In my mind the handgun came out after the two got into a physical fight and as soon as it is pulled the gun is either used to atop the agressor or it gets taken away from you and then YOU get shot. The other option is that Zimmerman just pulled out the gun and shot Treyvon before they got into a physical fight. How much distance was between them- well forensics will tell us the angle of the wound, powder burns on the clothes. It does appear that Zimmerman had a head wound consistent with getting it pounded into the sidewalk. Quite often a civilian who carries a handgun for protection delays using it (fear of using deadly force) and ends up getting killed when the thug either shoots him first with their gun or overpowers the civilian and takes it away from him- bang- and you are dead by your own bullet.
