Only two of interest to me there...

Saturday AM - on "Motivating Righthearted ones to Love their "Spiritual Mother" should be a whopper, that is if they are going to use the org as "mother" Can't think of anyone else it would be.

The Drama "What is True Love?" will no doubt be some sort of over the top scenario ramming "cult love" down the throats of the troops.

Yeah You know this one will be a piece of work about hearts questioning the slave/jehovah in your heart.

    Talk about a barf fest!

Just reading the program screams MIND control!!!!! My heart sank remembering how they lasted till 5pm!!! no time to enjoy our one vacation a year growing up

I noticed right away that on the Friday morning symposium "Beware of Dangerous Heart Conditions!", they neglected to include the dangerous heart condition, hoof-hearted.
Um, if you don't "get it", say it out loud a couple of times hoof-hearted

Too early in the morning, so it took me a few second to get this, my coworker overheard me and said, "I don't smell anything, but it wasn't me!"

As far as the program goes, I don't think medical or pharmaceutical literature related to cardiovascular related issues mention "heart" that much. A bit overkill on stressing what the overall theme of the program is. It's almost like there was a battle to see if they could fit "heart" in more times than a typical WT article mentions the name, Jehovah.

The title of the talk during the latter part of the Saturday afternoon session entitled, "Rejoice In Your Youth (Ecc 11:9-12:1)" made me chuckle as that's an oxymoron if there ever was one when it comes to being a young Jehovah's Witness. Ecc 12:1 says, "Remember your Creator in the days of your youth, before the days of trouble come and the years will approach when you will say, "I find no pleasure in them." Speaking personally as a born-in, my experiences weren't hell per say, but I definately hold a fair measure of resentment for all of the experiences that other non-JW youth enjoyed while I missed out because of being a born-in JW. I'm now in my mid 30's and entrenched within this religion , and as far as the past couple years are concered, "I find no pleasure in them." When I'm around older JWs at the KH, or assemblies, or in field service, I'm under the impression that despite all the years they spent serving The Watchtower Jehovah, if they were to be completely honest with me and themselves, they'd express that the years of their youth were possibly wasted. And as far as their current years serving The Watchtower Jehovah, they "find no pleasure in them."

The following part, "Inculcate God's Word In Little Hearts (Deut 6:4-7; 31:12)", should be entitled, "Inculcate Watchtower Doctrine In Your Children".

    Two things I noticed:

    1. Jesus Christ is mentioned NOWHERE in the entire program. NOT ONE PART includes the name of Jesus. Not one.

    2. Why does the symposium part about Peter cite Proverbs 24:16? Were there no scriptures in the New Testament that could show us how Peter served God wholeheartedly? Is this an error, seriously? Proverbs?? Proverbs??

So I see that 'brazen conduct' really is taking hold as a new 'loaded language' term. Hmm. Inculcating God's Word in little hearts--something creeps me out about that phrase, I'm just not sure what...

But this is indeed unusual--I'm surprised to hear them saying "Spiritual Mother". Since I'll be in attendance, I'll be very curious indeed to hear what they say on THAT part...

    Sounds like lots of fun!

Holy crap this looks even more boring than ever.

And I'm not just saying that because I'm an apostate. . . this honestly looks REALLY freaking boring.

At least when they give parts on apostacy, prophecy, history or their crappy understanding of science I have something to stew about, get upset over or explain to my family.

But this is all just boringness!

Regarding the 9.40am Symposium: Motivate Rightearted Ones to Love.. Their Spiritual Father, Their Spiritual Mother, When you look at the spanish program, it clearly states who the "Spiritual Mother" is, since translated to English it says: ...Your Spiritual Mother, God's Organization. No doubt. You know you your mother is.

22 In this world it is customary to speak of a high school, college or university from which a person graduates by the heathen expression “alma mater” (fostering mother). But the Watchtower Bible School of Gilead is not the great mother organization of the Gilead graduates. The Watch Tower Bible & Tract Society is not the great mother organization of Jehovah’s witnesses who have received the Kingdom truth through it and who cooperate with it world-wide, using it as their legal and business servant and advisory governing body. No; as Jehovah’s witnesses we represent something greater than these minor visible organizations. The great “mother” is Jehovah’s universal organization, which he created and of which he is the faithful Husband. (Isa. 54:5; Gal. 4:26) By her he brings forth his beloved children for his purpose. By her he gives us law and instruction, provides for us, guides us and looks out for our welfare with a view to our everlasting life. In her we find fulfilled all the traits of a virtuous woman so lovelily described to King Lemuel. Just now, when God’s kingdom is the paramount issue, his “woman” is chiefly concerned with bringing forth successfully to kingship with Jesus Christ in heaven the remnant of his royal “little flock”. Yet she is interested also in the many, many “other sheep” who will eventually become her earthly children in God’s image and likeness. Her heart is big enough to hold a love now for them all and to gather all these “other sheep” to her warm, loving bosom.—Luke 12:32; John 10:16.

23 However, what we see exemplified in God’s woman, his heavenly universal organization, we should look to see in his visible organization. Why? Because his higher, greater universal organization uses it as her earthly instrument. That is why we do see those motherly traits, those traits and acts of a virtuous woman, in the Watchtower Bible School of Gilead and in the Watch Tower Bible & Tract Society, because these profess to represent and serve God’s woman. We thank God for providing and using them. So we stand up respectfully and bless his faithful organization, his queenly “woman” in heaven which makes all these loving provisions for us as children of God.—Prov. 31:28.

    Good observation and worth repeating!
