Bump!!!!! Happy Thor day
it's almost friday
Who cares, its Thor day today!!!!!!!
The name Friday comes from the Old EnglishFrigedæg, meaning the "day of Frigg" (a Germanic goddess broadly equivalent to Venus). The same holds for Friatag in Old High German, Freitag in Modern German and Vrijdag in Dutch.
We will discuss that tommarow. Today....
Hail mighty Thor!!
You notice how we have Odin's Day, (Wednesday), Thor's Day,. Frigdaeg, and then Saturday which must be Saturn.
Sunday, Monday, (moon)...not sure what Tuesday comes from, but it certainly must be along the same lines.
So, 3 days named after Norse gods, one after good old Saturn (Roman god), Sun and Moon acknowledged (general pagan and old religion).
Jehovah doesn't get a look-in, does he? Does that tell us something?
Lolololol!!!! It tells me everything i ever needed to know. Desert sheep herder goods are inconsequential. Norse gods with hammers rock :-D case closed.
Oh, yes!
The hammer rules!
