This thinking could be disasterous to WT. "This is Jehovah's job to solve... congregational problems..." So when the congregation is short on cash, don't "shoplift" from Jehovah, let him prove how he can provide the funds to accomplish his will. Jehovah is master of the universe, don't cut his generous hand short by working extra hours to give money because you're worried about congregation fund shortfalls. Jehovah will provide for his organization!

Maybe it's an unwitting admission that the Watchtower organisation is really a business. In order to "shoplift from Jehovah" then Jehovah would need to own a shop, right? Religion is the core business and the Watchtower organisation is the storefront. Like many other businesses they are also concentrating on the online aspect of their business these days and cutting back their staff.

But if Jehovah is just a store keeper and we are just the customers, then surely it's reasonable to try out other stores, and go elsewhere if we find they cost less and offer better goods and services. No need to shoplift from Jehovah indeed, simply exercise consumer choice.

And what about Jehovah stealing from Satan, Thoth, Horus, Odin, Astaroth, and so many others? There isn't a damn thing in the LIE-ble that wasn't stolen from some ancient legend, often stemming back more than 10,000 years. Of course, the scumbags that invaded those areas destroyed the originals so no one could cross-reference anything.
