Very powerful without being dramatic! I hope they print it.

Nicely done, and not dramatic. It has more likelihood of being printed because of the lack of said drama.

i hope the letter also provides an opportunity to vent against the injustice of the WTBS. I cannot help but notice the similarity between the Jerry Sandusky pedophilia trial; how PSU covered it up to maintain theri reputation, and how the WTBTS coverup the many scandals that envelop its rotting corpse of self righteousness. The issues such as pedophilia, the constant change of doctrine, the Malawi/Mexico scandal, blood and fractions, etc. Any newspaper that would write an article setting these people up as fine folks is no less than an accessory to their crimes/sins. I might include that in my lettet T.

Hey TD!
Sounds well balanced, rational and reasonable - inviting them to make up their own minds after evaluating competing information.
Best wishes.

From what I understand, any letters to the editors must contain a name of the persons sending it or they don't use it. I hope they see in this situation that would not be possible and still consder it. If you give them contact information so they can be sure of you, they also might be more likely to do it, so long as they can say they checked out the writer.

Great letter, it might get them researching the cult. Maybe include a link with the latest pedophile case and the extraordinary win.

I agree it is a very good letter ,from the heart.I would give them my name and contact number , for their verification, but ask that they do not publish it for obvous reasons.Newspapers will abide by that.

That's a wonderful letter and a wonderful idea.
I was thinking about a similar letter, formatted slightly different, to be sent to as many (other) churches as I could afford postage, asking all the other churches to pray for the thousands of anonymous, trapped, hurting JW's who can't help themselves, are desperate for help, and can only hope God will forgive them for dragging his name through the mud every time they go doo-to-door.
The tidal wave of care and concern that TRUE CHRISTIANS would show for JW's, I think, would be astounding.
I may steal a few ideas from your letter, Tresdecu.
