Tal - I have been fascinated with NS for some time now. I have read everything about NS I could get my hands on. I do think I would fit right in. I love that there are Francophone communities there as well. My dream is someday to see the Sons of Maxwell live. I almost fainted when you said you have met them. They are awesome.
LOL@Openmind! I really wouldn't care if he was gay as long as he only has sex with me. Mostly cause I am not sharing him with anyone, kind of territorial that way LMAO!

I love your sense of humor Bobbi. LOL for sure.
ow! you got me right in the heart OM.
So cool , Lav! You are welcome here anytime ... I may be poor, but can always "put up" a friend.

Yes, it took a long time of being out and self reflection to realize that I am a lesbian.
Para: "I am a lesbian."
Me too. I am only attracted to women.
Do you think we can get a couple of Harleys and ride with Dykes on Bikes?

So I went to the parade. I actually found it long and rather boring (but not nearly as long and boring as a discrap crapvention or any other JW event). I remember some years ago on the forum here when a member from this city said how disgusting it was with lewdness and bare asses. Nope. Didn't see anything particularly shocking. Minimal displays of affection. Some in the parade and crowd had a lot of bare skin showing, but nothing more than you'd have seen a few blocks away at the beach or a pool.
Some of the floats and groups were pretty neat, like Dykes on Bikes, and maybe a handful of others that stood out. Otherwise it was hundreds of people with an assortment of signs for their groups, schools, businesses, political candidates, and community support.
After finding a spot shortly before it was to start, the parade started really moving past where I was nearly an hour later. And it continued, interspersed with some legthy gaps, and continued. After having been there for around 2 & 1/2 hours of parade, it looked like it might never end, so I left... hot, thirsty, and only slightly sunburnt.
So I can say I've been. And I kept my shirt on.
I think being in such a huge, packed crowd made it unpleasant for me after the first hour or so.
