The bible also says absatain from fat in the very next paragraph. Do you currently have any fat in your diet? This is obviously a dietary law.
The bible also says in Corinthians not for a woman to cut her hair because it is her covering. Have you ever had a hair cut?
Obviously certain things are not to be taken literal.
The thing is,
I believe the in the bible, I do not believe in an organization that lies.
The more research you do on the Organization, the more you will see where we are comming from.
Who is actualy a jehovah witness here? I mean Jeez

The blood issue has its flaws,
if you stay here long enough you will find out why.
People here will be willing to explain it to you if you let them.
As you know you are to expect lies and bitter ness from apostates but again I ask you to wait and find out why.
*****************
People here think that you are a poster that got deactivated recently for profanity.
Anyway this may be entertaining to you for now but if you stay you will find out that they can back up what they say.
Not with Apostate literature but with Watchtower literature!
Yes. People here can show you quotations from your own books that will make your head spin.
Many things which you believe are under constant scrutiny by the public and many think that they have found serious flaws.
Please just wait and see.
The Watchtwer says that reading apostate literatue or associating with apostates may alter your spritual health.
That is 100% true.
YES. It will alter you spritual health but in what way?
Please do not close your mind to any arguments as yet, just wait and see.
Oh by the way how long have you been a publisure?
Are you baptized?

im sorry for u losing a loved one, but the bible (if u belive in it)says "but to write to them to abstain from .... blood"- Acts 15:20and because witnesses belive in the bible adn God and want to live by the standards of god adn Jesus christ we dont accept blood transfusions. If some man made this law up we would not practice it.
So what man made this law up?

Questions from Readers
Is there any Scriptural objection to donating one's body for use in medical research or to accepting organs for transplant from such a source?-W. L., U.S.A.
my guess is that it was just someone's "own interpretation" just as you siad Farkel's was. What happened to those in need of an organ transplant such as Haeven's grandfather who thoguht he was following the Bible but was actually following teaching of "just men"? Heaven just told us the sad truth of what happens. For somehow, the Bible no longer says that recieving an organ transplant is cannibalism! You see how much bloodguilt men who teach their own gfollowers to respond to them as if they were " a voice from God? How do these men live with themselves KNOWING that they have CAUSED people to DIE, with the deceased obeying ther doctrines thinking they were God's teachings and from the Bible? How do the members feel who went along with handing those who took organ transplants over to satan back then? my guess is that they will just say " I'm sorry for the deaths, and at the same time, turn around and continue to respond to the word's of the wbts/self-appointed faithful and discreet slave as if it were the voice of God. And they will continue to raise their innocent children to parrot the wbts too, such as you have been, ShyGurlie. I suppose you don't know what fractions of blood you can have transfused if ever the need arises, ShyGirlie. If I were you, I'd read about what the "society" allows you to take, seeing as that is the org you serve and put your loyalty in. aka: worship. Afterall, the wbts now know what fractions of blood the bible says is ok to be transfused and what fractions aren't.A number of issues are involved in this matter, including the propriety of organ transplants and autopsies. Quite often human emotion is the only factor considered when individuals decide these matters. It would be good, though, for Christians to consider the Scriptural principles that apply, and then make decisions in harmony with these principles so as to be pleasing to Jehovah.-Acts 24:16.
First, it would be well to have in mind that organ transplant operations, such as are now being performed in an attempt to repair the body or extend a life-span, were not the custom thousands of years ago, so we cannot expect to find legislation in the Bible on transplanting human organs. Yet, this does not mean that we have no indication of God's view of such matters.
When Jehovah for the first time allowed humans to eat animal flesh, he explained matters this way to Noah: "A fear of you and a terror of you will continue upon every living creature of the earth and upon every flying creature of the heavens, upon everything that goes moving on the ground, and upon all the fishes of the sea. Into your hand they are now given. Every moving animal that is alive may serve as food for you. As in the case of green vegetation, I do give it all to you. Only flesh with its soul-its blood-you must not eat." (Gen. 9:2-4) That allowance was made to Noah, from whom every person now alive descended. Hence, it applies to all of us.
Humans were allowed by God to eat animal flesh and to sustain their human lives by taking the lives of animals, though they were not permitted to eat blood. Did this include eating human flesh, sustaining one's life by means of the body or part of the body of another human, alive or dead? No! That would be cannibalism, a practice abhorrent to all civilized people. Jehovah clearly made a distinction between the lives of animals and the lives of humans, mankind being created in God's image, with his qualities. (Gen. 1:27) This distinction is evident in His next words. God proceeded to show that man's life is sacred and is not to be taken at will, as may be done with the animals to be used for food. To show disrespect for the sanctity of human life would make one liable to have his own life taken.-Gen. 9:5, 6.
Heaven,
I am TRULY sorry for the senseless death of your grandfather. My heart goes out to you, and your family for their loss of him too.
peace,

By the way, dont let your parents catch you on this site.
I think you know what kind of trouble you will get into if you do manage to get caught.
I hope you know how to clear the history, temporary internet files and to get this url from the url box.
Most people here will be direct and straight foward with you about what they think.
They will usually add some sarcastic comment or an insult about the Watchtower when they present info to you. It is because they think the WT caused them pain. They have a point though. As you will find out if you stick around.
Many things that the Watchtower says about apostates are true but not all of them. Many things about them will surprise you.
Rember many people here were just like you so if you listen mabe you will find out why they changed.
It is really hard to express compassion to someone who they know that is supposed to hate you. And you are such a person. That is why people may seem harsh towards you.
It is all for a good reason so please find out why.

Quotes
in the Jehovah's witness organization these ones who commit wrong doing are disfellowshipped
Sure, that is what you would like to believe, that is what they want "Caesar" to believe.
Just ask my good friend BEANS, who knows all too well (thanks to the experience his sister had at the hands of a too friendly elder when they were teens) that as long as the guy repents he won't be disfellowshipped.
Oh sure, the elder who did things to Beans sister was punished... he couldn't be an elder anymore (is that a punishment, or a reward? getting a break from all that shepherding) and was encouraged to keep himself "busy in the work of Jehovah" (i.e. door knocking). Of course, the police were not called.
So, to recap:
(1) Police not called
(2) releived of elder duties (a relief, not punishment)
(3) and told to go out and knock on more doors (where there might be more young girls at home alone).Oh sure, "they dealt with it internally". ha hah! Doesn't that sound like the same cover-up answer that JWs criticize when it comes from Catholic apologists?

Somebody;
Insightful information. Thank you for posting it.
I usually cant spend a ton of time on the computer so I have to keep my comments pretty short and to the point. If I posted all my thoughts I would be here all night. Im still trying to figure out if this poster is genuine. I hope so because the issues are.
Thank you for being thoughtful.I think some people are insensitive because they have never lost someone they love because of a false biblical teaching. They only read about the deaths in Wathtowers etc. They are only statistics to them. It is very frustrating.
I try not to be angry at the witnesses since they are victims of the society also. It is hard when they say things that to me seem arrogant and insensitive.
I may sound repetitive bringing up my grandfather but Im trying to make them realize that this is important and actual people are dying here ya' know?Jerome;
Im glad you are still posting. You seem to have gained quite a bit of insight. How are things going for you lately? -

"Dealt with it internally?" Yeah, right. Fox, meet henhouse. Enron dealt with it "internally" too. >>>>>>s>>>h>>>red>>>>>>>>>
Gurlie needs to learn that the JWs are the greatest "haterz" of all -- especially the UN and the Catholic Church. Apostates. Unrelenting hate. Jeez.
