Awesome! I can't believe you covered so much material! And 607 was first on the list!

You gave them allot to think about. Can you imagine the pain going on inside them due to cognitive dissonance? Regardless of the outcome, one day, they will look back on this JC, and realize you were right all along.

    Awesome, im praying for ya!

One thing I have noticed in most of these judicial committee recordings on the net is the lack of discussion regarding the Faithful and Discreet slave appointment of 1919. Seems to me that this is one of the easiest and detrimental subjects to discuss, maybe when I have my own JC one day i'll try to go straight for the jugular.

Question of procedure: When a judical committee renders the verdict of DFing - does that verdict have to unanimous amoung the elders, or just a majority?

When a judical committee renders the verdict of DFing - does that verdict have to unanimous amoung the elders, or just a majority?

Shepherd the Flock of God (Elders' Book) PG 96, Sect 16

    16. Generally! those serving on a judicial committee
should endeavor to be unanimous in their decision.
Any difference of opinion can usually be resolved
by discussing matters thoroughly as a judicial
committee, researching the Scriptures and Christian
publications, praying for wisdom and direction, and
even consulting With an experienced elder outside
the congregation. However, if the committee is unable
to reach a unanimous conclusion, the minority
should give support to the decision reached by the
    majority.

Other allowances for their delay in DFing could be:

    (1) a concern for RP's "mental health". Instructions in the Shepherd book give a wide berth of leeway if they believe a person is truly affected by mental illness. (No offense Ray.)

    (2) at least 1 of the 3 Elders strongly feels that Ray is sincere and needs guidance vs. "cutting off" and assuming that Ray is at the point of only questioning or believing "apostate" ideas and NOT teaching them or advocating them to others in the Cong. Thus, they may have concluded to take the issue up with the CO or Service Dept.

@Walls of Jericho - Love that graphic, very cool lol.

@Data-Dog - I felt them bro- TY. Yeah is a thread on here about that letter it was from earlier this year...someone will dig it up for you if you can't find it.

@Elephant - You're a bit of an odd ball and troll on here aren't you? I do wish you well though and respect your right to say and believe strange things!

@Oldnews - Yeah that's my main goal- to help the fence sitters and awake Witnesses to free their minds and come to Christ, or at least freedom from slavery to the WT and not to men.

@LeavingWT - Yeah that'll be just fine with me. I've only stayed in for the cause. I wanted to DA over a year ago but didn't for all the reasons that have been discussed on this board.

This Papal Hierarchy cannot be reasoned with until the body count rises and the brave men and women stand up like Tyndale and Luther and perhaps someday there will be a "JW Reformation"...

Yeah I know, maybe it will never happen but I am an optimistic person and believe that each of us can and do make a difference every single day!

@Londo - I am such a lamer on the 587 vs 607 argument you could run circles around me! All I did was mention Carl johnnson and a few small points about how it blows 1914 out of the water. My goal was not to get stuck on any one topic but just bring up as much as I could to illustrate that there are some serious problems within the theology.

@Emery - I'd love to hear about how you handle that when/if it comes.

Thanks for the prayers- the energy of our minds and hearts coupled with the power of God's Spirit is potent and not to be underestimated or unappreciated!

@Sulla - You are a very charming person, this much is obvious...I love your positivity!

@Talk22 - It could be as you say...but these men were quite friendly and truly were *trying* to save me so I personally doubt the veracity of your assertion.

You are not making me feel bad in the least. NO ONE can make me feel bad about myself, as I love who I am and what I have accomplished in my life.

I'm blessed with children that love me and are gorgeous, and have many new friends in the "real world" not just cyberspace lol! Although my FB could use some work, I can't even crack 30 FB friends but at least I know every one of them and that's saying something!

@Tornapart - A legend? Well don't go that far Sis I am just one more blip on the radarscreen...but I am thinking of you now...and what direction you will take and when. There is no pressure from me, or anyone but you. When the timing is correct you will do what you need to do and I will be the one cheering YOU on.

@DesirousOfChange - Your theory is the one that I personally feel is the most plausible- one of them quite possibly the hold out and thinks that I can be retained or saved.

Mentally ill? ...LMAO yes I am definitely raving mad I pulled a "David" and frothed at the mouth intermittenly hehe that was my ace in the hole! Who told you??

Sorry to come in so late, but here are my two cents worth:

I am not in your position YET,but in anticipation that certain ones decide that I should be subjected to "counselling", I have prepared 3 simple questions which I would respectfully request all the Elders to answer, before I

A refusal by any or all of them to do so, would elicit the same response from me - I would refuse to answer them!

Here are the questions, and I would love to hear if you decided to use any or all of them to discern "thoughts & intentions of the heart" at your next cross-examination!

Their answers will identify them as "company men" or Christians. All the best!

Do you believe in the "New Scrolls"? ( Revelation 20:12)

Who resolved the circumcision issue? ( Galatians 2:1 - 8)

Did Judas partake of the emblems? ( Luke 22:14 - 23)
