Again, no examples? Just want to keep the generalized comments? In case you didn't notice, I'm calling you out on your claims that have no basis. You're the only one making them against me right now, and yet you CANNOT back them up. What have I said that is in contradiction to the basic principles of scientific investigation and logic. That's a big boy term for you. Well done. However, I was talking about how both sides use logical fallacys. And I was talking in a general way what sort of proof would be enough to make an atheist believe.
But I'm barking up the wrong tree here. You don't seem to have anything to offer to the conversation in even a scientific way. Just general accusations that have no support in anything I've said.
I guess you must feel like 1+1=5, huh?

Clearly, you love to pick and pick and pick. It gets exhausting, and goes nowhere, the posting equivalent of a war of attrition.
And it is nothing to do with this thread. Obviously, you want a quarrel. Obviously, this is your preferred entertainment.
Well, not mine. It is negative and destructive, although it isn't altogether off topic, because you illustrate and give evidence of and answer the title in almost every post. You are not alone, but you never fail.

Chariklo, like when I posted my sincere question, the atheists would isolate something irrelevant in my post and ask a question about it so as to divert from answering. A person is forced to post a question without adding any commentary or unecessary details. But even then, they will focus on one word in the question and try to steer the debate over it. Round and round we go.
X: Why is the sky blue?
Y: Does blue necessarily refer to sky?
X: Why is the sky blue? Please answer my sincere question
Y: How does one define "sincere"?
X: Last time, why is the sky blue?
Y: I don't have time for fruitless philosophical debates.

Oh dear, Chariklo. I love ya, dude. But seriously...
I don't agree with NC's comparison to those that believe in fairies with those that believe that the universe has an intelligence behind it either. But when we resort back into "you're scorning me" "no I'm not" "yes you are", it halts the conversation, and no more intelligent discussion is possible.
I recommend some of "us" jump onto youtube and watch a few real live debates. Some real moderated debates may be some good training for how to handle ourselves. The debate would be ridiculous if it fell into "You just attacked me. Shame on you".
It IS ok to say, "You are missing the point. The point is...." or "Why can't you just admit that this is a fact..."
Maybe debate 101 is in order.

Chariklo, the ironic thing is, in this particular situation,religionists, specifically Christians, are often accused of using circular reasoning. For example, Christians will be accused of using the "because God said so" fallacy. But atheists are completely immune from using fallacies, apparently. It's obvious that both Christians and atheists are guilty of, at times, using logical fallcies. Hopefully we can move on and answer direct questions without evasiveness.
