I tried to work on the list, but couldn't do it. I realized I don't have favorites as such. Too many variables, too many choices, too many changes in opinion, experiences and moods even.

I could make a joke out of it, but some have already done it, and better than I could have.

Think of it like this, Undercover - what wine would I want to drink - the very last time before I died.

What movie would I want to last see? What book?

    etc...

    Scientist: Einstein
    philosopher:Ralph Waldo Emerson
    Car: PTCruiser.

Wow, that was tough. In some categories, it was hard to narrow it down to just one (books, movies and songs) . In other categories it was hard to think up any. I have never been to an opera (although its on my bucket list), nor have I listened to it much. La Traviota is the music that appeals to me the most of the few I have heard.

well... I hope to discover a lot more wine, see a lot more movies, read a lot more books, drive a lot of different cars before I die. One of those may replace something on a current list. A list today would mean looking at it as if I would be dead in a week. I prefer to not be so final about it. That and I'm lazy and don't wanna think about it too much...

Now if we could only solve the mystery of Terry's Jaguar-Maserati.

You know, James, my memory keeps whispering to me that the car John Barry had with the Maserati engine was a Citroen, but, the photograph

is definitely the e-type Jag. Does Citroen have a 12 cylinder?

I'll bet somebody somewhere along the line of transmission introduced "noise" into the data pool like any good bible translator.

The E-type Jag with the 12 cynlinder might be the automotive equivalent to the doctrine of the Trinity!!

There was a 280 CE too, but that was a 4-seater hardtop with no convertible top.

Just by chance, I was thinking about getting one of these to keep at our vacation cabin in Colorado - automatic, unfortunately, so that Mai could also drive it. Silver with black interior, I think...

J_W - Yeah, that's what I thought, and proves my rule ... don't believe anything on the internet unless it's from a reliable source (I just googled a pic, and the pic was the car I liked, with the wrong model # in the caption).

That sounds so purdy! YUM! Make sure it has air, though. Black interior - ouchy in the summertime, unless you get those awesome real sheepskin seat covers ... hard to find nowadays.

LisaRose - thumbs up on Emerson ,,, I just love him! His essays are way ahead of his time, and I read them over and over. :D
