  So the thing I'm confused about:

  The friends were frantically working to prepare food for the Friday event, but we didn’t have a clue how much food we would need. There was now enough food for 1,400 people. But was that enough? The brother in charge offered a prayer to Jehovah with the group, and as they said “Amen” the telephone rang. It was the manager of Wal-Mart saying he wanted to donate 4,000 sandwiches. Then the telephone rang again and again – from Albertsons and Safeway also wanting to make donations of food.

  If Jehovah alegedly performed a miracle providing 4000 sandwiches. Why didn't he just save the girl in the first place?

  It was interesting that they said Jehovah must have kept it from raining during the memorial. What? If Jehovah could prevent it from raining, why couldn't he prevent holt from killing Whitney in the first place? Crazy JW thinking. If something bad happens, Satan is testing them. If something good happens, Jehovah is blessing them.

  As is often the case JWs use the emotions of a tragic loss so more will put effort into serving the Watchtower.

  I remember the same thing was done when my dad died. Funny thing is he wasn't a JW (despite knowing a lot of them) and never went to the meetings.

  What stands out is the huge outpouring of concern and compassion shown by the non-Witness community - and how sobering to refelct that, by the Witnesses own teachings, their God, Jehovah, will destroy the non-Witness community unless they recognize and follow his earthly organization.

  They sure need a PR boost after the conti verdict.

  Regarding that misleading ''he even went to the kingdom hall'' comment, I am sure i read elsewhere that holt and wife had a key to Whitney and Clints apartment to water plants while they were away... so much for the occassional K/H visitor, They must have known and trusted him or they would never do that. Nothing but a spin job on facebook worthy of a yearbook experience!
