Ethos; will you be answering questions in regards to The WTS's UN membership, it's position with allowing child abusers to serve in positions of responsibility, your GB cover up of predatory homosexuality amoungst it's exclusive body, the Malawi/Mexico scandal?

The importance of using and sanctifying God's name, Jehovah.

That name is a fraud, I wrote a topic about it here.

Core doctrines that havent changed: The importance of using and sanctifying God's name, Jehovah.

if you watch public access tv on sundays, you'll see you're definitely not the only ones using the name jehovah. hell, haven't you sen raiders of the lost ark? jehovah is definitely not unique to you.

The role of Jesus Christ not as God Almighty, but God's son

once again, not unique to you

who will rule as King of Gods Kingdom fof 1,000 years.

also not unique to you. there were several millenialist movements.

God is not nor has he ever been a pagan Trinity god.

you assume that you somehow know god and that there is a god in the first place.

God does not torture souls forever and ever in a fiery hell.

    not unique to you.

The soul is not immortal. The dead are unconscious. The value of Christ's ransom sacrifice.

none of this stuff is unique to jehovah's witnesses, you just don't know any of it because you're taught not to examine other faiths, unless it's out of the mankind search for god book. which, btw, is bullshit and a half. if you really want to know about another faith, you're gonna have to do a LOT more reading than that...

really now, isn't it rather hypocritical of jws to do that, while expecting others to actually listen to them?

The importance of political neutrality and not participating in wars.

    seriously not unique to you.

The responsibility of true Christians to preach to everyone and not leave it to a paid clergy class.

have you heard of the mormons?

Advocating the urgency of the times and the parousia of Christ. I could go on but I think this is sufficient.

actually it's very much NOT sufficient. all you've shown is that you're no better than any other religion out there.

the governing body teaches that the holy spirit directs and appoints elders.

why then, do we have court cases where a child molestor was appointed to ministerial servant, and later elder, all during a time in which he admits to sodomizing children in the hall?

is that what the holy spirit is all about?

As Witness My Fury has said, they knowingly teach one thing that they know to be false – that Jerusalem was destroyed by Babylon in 607 BCE. They cannot correct that error because too much else starts unravelling. How can the GB claim God's direction when they KNOW they are teaching falshoods?

Governing Body Members, Zone Overseers, District Overseers, Circuit Overseers, Branch Coordinators, Special Pioneers, Gilead Missionaries, Regular Pioneers, Auxiliary Pioneers, Coordinator of the Body of Elders, Congregation Secretary, Service Overseer ,Elder, Ministerial Servant, of course The WTS have no clergy laity class, how foolish to think so.

so yes, we have a pretty damn good idea how you guys operate. maybe not YOU per se, but by and large, we know the culture within.

It never ceases to amaze me the way WT apologists come on this forum and assume that everyone here is completely ignorant of the JW religion, and that their deception will go unchecked.

The value of Christ's ransom sacrifice.

Do you realise that this is a very old Christian teaching? Other Christian churches call it the doctrine of Redemption. Jehovah's Witnesses did not invent it. I am telling you this because as a born-in and someone never allowed to read literature from other religions I didn't know this.

    The importance of political neutrality

How does this neutrality fit in with the WTS being an NGO affiliated with the UN?

The role of Jesus Christ not as God Almighty, but God's son who will rule as King of Gods Kingdom fof 1,000 years.

This has changed enlessly, Ethos, as many here have said over and over again. The scripture in the Bible is the only thing that has not changed. When the 1,000 reign of Christ is due to begin has changed constantly. Are you just too young to know this? I don't mean know this through reading but going out in field service and telling peole that those alive in 1914 will most definitily see the end. Most people on this board have done this for years.

My tipping point would be a teaching of false doctrine that knowingly went unchecked. Like if the Wt came out and said the Trinity was true. That would be my tipping point that something is wrong.

This is not exactly what you want, but here's an example to think about:

In the summer of 1935, a large group was asked to stand up at a JW convention. These people at the time were called, 'Jonadabs.' Once they were all standing, they were told clearly and unequivocally that they were the 'Great multitude' of Revelation.

Nearly thirty years ago, the JW parent organization said this about that event:

"God's infallible Word depicts this group as 'coming out the great tribulation,' being survivors of it, living right on into God's New Order without ever having to die. The early members of this group are now in their 60's or 70's or older. Jehovah did not allow the ingathering of this group to begin too soon. The "great crowd" including many of the earlierst members thereof, will survive into the "new earth." (Survival Into a New Earth p. 185)

A child born in the year 1935 would be 77 years old today. Adults at the time would be late 90's and early 100's at a bare minimum, which means the group has pretty much passed away now. It's becoming increasingly apparent with every passing year that those people were not the 'Great multitude' at all and could not have been. Not only that, they never really were even 'Prospective' members of the 'Great multitude' because you have absolutely zero prospect of surviving any event that falls outside the boundaries of your lifespan.

Fixing the problem is not nearly as simple has saying, "Well they were other sheep." (Think about it...) It's going to take some serious doctrinal surgery. Yet 1935 is still pointed to as a, 'Bright flash of light' and evidence that God himself was directing this doctrinal change.

If one carefully examines the main core doctrine of the WTS./JWS since its beginning appearance as an organization, that mankind

is living in the last days and its long continuing list of expressed dating proclamations by the WTS.

it should intellectual clear that the WTS. has created false biblical teachings, as an endeavorer to attract attention to its published goods

    and toward the organization itself.

Yes the WTS. has pointed out some of the false teachings of Christendom and they should be applauded for that, but

at the same time they've also created their own inherent false teachings separately on its own.

So there you have quagmire of true teachings together with false teachings, the false teachings inspired mostly under

a pretentious guise of adverse commercialism.
